Good luck bro. My brothers ex’s brother recently passed away from covid-19. He was only 49. But I suspect he had other complications.

Quick, everyone, inject yourselves with random needle so OP doesn’t bite.

OP, you alive breh? Say something breh..

Take your vitamin C, D and Zinc, everyone, exercise, eat right, you will be fine. Unless of course you are very old and/or ill with bad habits, unfit and unhealthy, a lot of which was of course your choice, in which case you will not be fine... naa meen?

OP is just a fear mongering troll. Ever since lockdown ive not heard a single ambulance siren, plenty of cops trying to catch speeders and demanding to know where im going though. Go figure.

Thanks for asking how I'm doing guys. The weekend was crappy, had a relapse in some symptoms and some of the shortness of breath came back. Today is day 21 and I'm doing about the same as I was at the end of last week. Thankfully it wasn't any serious deterioration but it's just frustrating that this recovery hasn't been smooth and consistent.

you guys should look into getting an antibody test, can confirm if you had it before
You can also donate plasma , possibly a treatment for those that have it and are in bad shape

Not widespread, no. They are giving them to people who confirmed had the illness and recovered so that they can donate plasma, but I think that's about it right now. The company that was approved to produce the tests should be ramping up over the next couple weeks.

Thanks.

This is clearly non-scientific but someone with the scientific background put it in terms that most of us could understand-

The common cold or the seasonal flu is something our bodies have been exposed to (a very similar strain), and while we may get sick from it, our bodies recognize it and have a good understanding/ability to fight it off.

Whereas this Coronavirus is totally new, no one in the world had any level of immunity to it, no ones body knew how to fight it off and because the body is so unprepared it takes much longer to beat completely.

That is not true though, there are about 20% of people who are asymptomatic

The range in the severity of symptoms this thing has is so strange. It sounds like you were able to get over this pretty quickly, but like you said just be careful because I had the feeling as though I was getting better maybe 10 days in or so before things got worse again.

My fiancee for example was clearly exposed as hell to this and yet the worst of her symptoms was a headache for a day or 2 and the loss of smell/taste for 3-4 days.

Can't both be true? No one had immunity because there were no antibodies for this specific coronavirus in anyone's system, yet some people who did get it didn't actually experience any symptoms. Doesn't mean they were immune, just the virus did not have a pronounced effect on their body.

Monday March 23 is when I started to get random diarrhea after eating food. March 25 is when at night time I got cold sweats and a fever or 100.1 which made me not sleep at all. March 26-29 is when I felt my worst with body aches stomach aches diarrhea fatigue and burning back pain, however no fever only lasted 2 days. From March 30 to now I only had loss of smell and taste which actually came back some what. I had a cough also here and there very small but it’s been non existent last two days.
