I saw Queensryche in concert! I remember some strange big dude just hoisted me up on his shoulders (we were near the stage!!) and I got to see the lead singer do his magic up close and personal! They put on quite a show, and that was at the beginning of their career!

Geoff Tate is an incredible singer. The metal singers that have the operatic style (Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach) are the ones that truly shine. In '06, I actually saw Queensryche open for Judas Priest.

Yes, this. I just wish there was a single band right now that I could get excited to go see live or to listen to their new album.

I mean there’s a couple bands like that but they’ve all been around for a long time. I saw TOOL live a while ago and it was fukkin awesome.

Been my favorite since I first heard it, it’s one of those songs that will mean different things to you at different points in your life. There was a year where I straight up couldn’t listen to this song at all or I’d be a blubbering mess.
