To be fair, Hi Points aren'tbad, they just aren't good. Shot plenty of them, very (surprisingly) reliable and pretty durable; great guns for people who just want a gun for the house 'in case' something happens but don't plan to shoot it often or want a budget gun.

i agree with that, at least from what ive heard and seen on reviews of them. supposedly hi points are reliable pistols, but i just cant get over how ugly they are

Couldn't get into it, kept getting a common (and still not fixed) Dev error that crashes the game every 20-30 minutes for me on PC, can't even get through a single game.

Yep. A guy I know has one and he shoots it pretty well. It’s uglier than a bowling shoe though

They make good stuff but he's an odd dude. During SHOT this year he kind of just stood around in our booth taking questions from fans while his crew followed him around for almost an hour. It was kind of cringey.

He and his family are apparently cultists. He shoots quickly but doesn't compete. He is furnished with hundreds of K in military gear but never served and presumably never takes classes.

He's fine as he doesn't pass himself off as something he is not. His stuff is entertaining, especially his night vision videos. Great camera work. His stuff is good to watch for fun. For education go to Primary & Secondary or Lightfighter.

I’m mixed on him.

On one hand I appreciate his hustle and building up a business from nothing to what I imagine is worth millions of dollars now.

On the other hand he’s a douche. He’s as LARPY as it gets and has every gun, optic, and piece of gear imaginable but preaches about how gear doesn’t matter.

He talks crap on competition and how it doesn’t matter but he secretly goes to matches and gets smoked.

If you haven’t served and done it I think it’s douchey to LARP like that and think competition is where you measure yourself against other shooters.

He brags about training Rangers and stuff but then those rangers get online and say that Lucas begged to train them for free and gave them crappy holsters that they don’t even use.
