Marriage is something most people do way to quickly and casually. And although I am married it's nothing but a BS label that can greatly complicate a break-up. That's just the truth.

Less people should be getting married, then less would have messy divorces.... and even less should be having kids, but that's a whole different story.

It'll be interesting to see how the family unit will cope in the future with marriages so low. Will couples still plan to have kids? Already the birth rate is declining which is bad. It'll be the end of what we call western civilization these days. Immigration will be the only answer in order to keep growing unless there is a massive event which changes histories course such as a depression.

a point in time will come , none of us will see it but, "remember marriage?"

kids pay attention , they see their father get screwed , they rem how they felt when their parents broke up

it will just keep snowballing ,it's not going backwards

people are caring less and less about each other

I am not a huge advocate for marriage but you guys act like every woman walking this planet has an onlyfans page and sits at home all day dildoing herself. Also some women think being hostile / difficult to their partner is some sort of redeeming quality. Some men have seen how destructive this can be in a marriage and opt out of it.

In the Black community where marriage is lower than other demographics I've seen some women talk about how they want a man that can handle their difficulty and actually incite conflict. It's crazy actually and I know we have other problems that harm our community but who wants to marry when you know a woman won't let you lead and always causing problems?

My aunt is the only one who hasn't been married but she was a strong careerist in a lucrative federal job and didn't really need a man for anything other than sex. If she didn't talk down and boss men around she would have been happy and truthfully I would have loved to see that for her.

I don't put her in the category of the black women I see nowadays though. I'm in these Black FB groups and half the time the women are trashing Black men and are complaining. Women who are estheticians and DEMAND a man pays for the bills and provides outside of 50/50. It gets tiring and no one wants to deal with that.

Furthermore, I'd venture to say that women always cheated as much as men even before women were "empowered" by joining the work force. You really think that zero wives were banging the milk man or the neighhor guy on the down-low back in the day when their husbands were at work and they got bored? Sure, lack of contraceptives might have made them more hesitant to cheat based on not wanting a kid by the wrong guy. But that's cancelled out by the fact that there were also no paternity tests to potentially expose women who didn't care if they cucked their husbands.
