At $1,750 in black or $2k in DDC, it's time to bum a coupon code off somebody or buy a KAC isntead. Maybe. It's still probably worth $2k if you have it and you like how it's set up and are okay with the premium features that call for the price tag
Mine was $1,190. Way, way worth it. $2k? I wouldn't pay $2k for it...probably.

Just my opinion here, but someone spending $2k on a(nother) rifle who doesn't have NODs has misplaced priorities.

People dying of Covid-19 could have expected to live on average for at least another decade, according to two studies that help fill in the developing picture of the human cost of the coronavirus pandemic.
The findings show the virus isn’t just carrying off the elderly or infirm a few months before their time.

I mean, basically this professor of health economics just called Ike out personally

It's like there's people in the STEM community that work with stats that can clearly identify when people with an agenda are arguing against AVERAGES using OUTLIERS.

Who needs studies conducted by subject matter experts with phd's, we have rectifyer on the case
PS: Average life expectancy starts at birth. Each year, let alone decade, that a person lives, adds to their now-expected life expectancy.
It's especially noticeable for males who live past their teens/early 20's without killing themselves in gang violence or a car accident

Youmayget the virus, youmayneed to be hospitalized, youmaydie. Youwillstarve. Prices of food going upwillhurt everyone.

"Using a mix of data from Italy and the U.K. on the kind of long-term conditions seen in Covid-19 victims and the general population, the researchers also mapped out the years of life lost for those suffering from common chronic illnesses and cancer, including those with multiple conditions. They found Covid-19 still cost such victims more than a decade of life, on average, with the sickest patients losing between one and six years depending on their age. Repeating the analysis using U.S. life-expectancy data yielded similar results.
A separate analysis led by Mr. Briggs put the U.S. average at almost 14 years lost and the U.K. average at almost 11 years. The difference is because U.S. Covid-19 victims identified so far have been younger on average than those in the U.K., he said.
Even adjusting for age and existing medical conditions, Americans with multiple ailments over age 90 are losing more than one year of life, according to Mr. Briggs’s study, which he conducted with academics in the U.S., Canada, Norway and Israel, and which also covered those countries."
Americans are apparently immortal. Meanwhile, for the sickest patients they're saying between 1 and 6 years, even for extremely ill 90+ year olds? Interesting.
None of that matters, however, because the Flu can kill someone who would have otherwise lived on for years, and for the same reasons.
EDIT: And to be clear, the purpose of pointing out the previous sentence is that the same group of people who would likely die to to the Flu but died to COVID cannot now die to the flu.

If a killer property = no turkey, then a non killer property = turkey.

Never did get into hunting, maybe ever gave it a fair chance I guess. Went once with friends, spent the morning/afternoon walking around and never saw anything to shoot (deer hunting), not in to fishing either.
Boring to me, I'd rather go to the range then buy some meat to bbq after.

When that guy started making noise in the woods and I saw it through the scope it was exhilarating. Totally different feeling than target shooting.

Argh, now the dilemma. I have a Trijicon TR24 that is homeless. I just got it back from service (ocular had something weird on it) so it's in great shape.
Do I sell it to have money for more employee purchases, or keep it since it's a decent scope.

The Razor HD Gen-II E just kinda puts it to shame makes me want to upgrade it.
If I didn't waste money on 'another gun' I'd be able to afford selling it and getting in line for a 1-10

*PS, no idea when more units are coming to the US, but the scope is sick.

Basically ride to a spot, dismount, walk in, hunt, get on the ATV, ride to the other side of the property, repeat. Total area was like 5-6 sq miles, hunt zones were like 1/2 mile of walking.

Def a bucket list for me. To be in a helicopter and hunt hog in Texas.

Boring to me, I'd rather go to the range then buy some meat to bbq after.

If you can get to a farm, like a pheasant farm. It's like 15 acres + and you pay for like 20 birds to be let out into your "field" the morning of, and you get out there, walking it with a dog (pointer/flusher) preferably. Get a lot more action.

Dunno how realistic it is for the goat/antelope. But do know it's a thing for feral hogs.
