Yeah as I mentioned earlier I got 10,500 as the first big one, followed by ~11,500-12,000 and then clear break of 14,000.

Depending on how you draw that downtrend resistance line you can argue it's broken it already with the top of the wick $10,060 today, but needs to close the 1W around there or higher.

follow the tethers, every time the market cap of tether goes up the price pumps, it will run up to wherever it goes and then it will dump back down like it always does. 2b tethers were injected into the market about a month ago when the price was 7 grand

as a former crypto brah, who cares?

the fundamental flaw of bitcoin is that it will never be as freely spent as regular currency is. people will just horde it hoping to make more money. that, combined with the fact that you can lose all your funds by entering a wrong address, will keep it down.

That was mostly aimed at the people who think Bitcoin as a replacement for fiat currency, when its entire value is based on fiat currency.

Literally sold half of my bitcoin for MAJOR profits @ 19,500 two years ago

Sold 1/4 more when it went back to 13k for a vegas trip last year

Then my girlfriend (now ex) stole the rest, dead srs, still trying to get it back

I think bitcoin is a good thing and beneficial, but it's too soon in time for the type of technology it is. It's an asset you hold longterm. We aren't ready for trace less decentralized currency as a country and in the world yet. Lol at crypto pumpers, I see many too many people trying to day-trade it with no conclusive reasoning for the trade other than riding price action.

What do you like? I've got a few I like that I've hit on recently.

I'm bullish on Snap my calls on them have been printing and I picked up some more shares when they were down. It's going to be a goldrush for which pharma company will get the vaccine so I have small plays in almost every one of the smaller caps. Also have GILD calls since remdesivir has been getting good news.

I read the chains and look for options that are mis priced. I get news fast too so I trade off of what I hear. If I do an earnings play I look at how the company has done the previous quarters, see what the expected move is, and depending on if the stock is a big mover I'll buy calls/puts on them or sell premium.

I haven’t looked at derivatives or anything like that yet personally. I’m mostly focused on buying what I know and understand while looking at the business’ balance sheets and forecasts. Managed to time these buys almost perfectly with the bottom but that was really just luck.

And I work in O&G so I live and talk oil all year round. Spent most of the last six years working with CNQ as a contractor, and they’re notorious for being the most difficult Client financially in this corner of the industry. Not fun to work for, but that’s exactly what you want as a shareholder

Not best performing asset of the year as some clowns have pointed out (honk honk) but perhaps the best performing asset of the past decade.

I invest long term, comparing monthly gains is losing sight of the bigger picture.

In before we break $20k
