Interesting.
Not something I need to know because I'm not ****ing citizen arresting anybody regardless lol but it sure makes this case a giant cluster ****
They're still going down for introducing lethal force and then killing the guy, but the army of cold blooded murder just 'cause he black drones can probably dial it back a notch
For one thing, that only applies if the offense was a felony. Was it a felony? Did he actually steal something?
If they have no way to know he committed a felony, if he did NOT actually commit a felony (requires he stole something or had intent to steal, how do you prove intent if he didn't steal?), I think ti's NOT a felony in which case that weird ass phrase doesn't apply?

Great information here.
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/f...play.php?f=116
As for the AR and AK question, you can get them, but they must be California compliant which is easy enough to do but neuters the gun for lack of a better word. You can make them featureless: grip fin/paddle, fixed stock, bullet button, no vertical foregrip, no flash suppressor ect... full bill here
https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/f...201520160SB880
So you can make it 'featureless' or use a fixed magazine device which makes it impossible to drop the magazine out, so you have to load the gun one bullet at a time.
Do you own any guns now? What handgun are you looking at for a CCW? Do you have any firearms experience?

LA county. I always heard people complaining about gun laws here in CA but I never really paid attention to just how ridiculous they are. Mack-11 would have been my first choice if the laws weren't so strict here. Something that's not too small or not to big that could spray multiple enemies/intruders etc. with ease in case the worst possible scenarios fell upon you. Only makes sense that you prepare for the worst, but if CA isn't willing to allow full protection in that sense, by banning the use of semi-automatic weapons then I'm guessing I'll probably have to look into getting really efficient with whatever handguns can fire quickest and have the best feel
Still need to read up a lot, I essentially know nothing at this point. Want to be fully prepared for anything really. Whether it be something like home invasion / thieves, something huge that goes down something unthinkable like the Las Vegas massacre, or even full scale warfare. Anything can happen. I just want to be prepared and have the most efficient weapons and ammo. Not sure which handgun exactly I usually research like a fiend and overthink things so I'm considering looking into what misc is purchasing on previous pages and looking into various brands/models from there

Whether he was burglarizing sites or not is immaterial if the shooters didn't have "immediate knowledge" of it. They were already outside the scope of a citizens arrest. The citizens arrest argument was always retarded.
Whether or not stopping in the road is detainment is another matter. I don't think it constitutes a threat by itself.

Once upon a time Midway USA had it on sale for 50 CPR but that was a couple years ago and sort of a one time thing.
Generally the better buy was to get the CBC (Magtech) first defense 'sniper' ammo that is the same thing (5.56x45, 77gr SMK) but cost a little less (60-65 CPR?) and by most reports was slightly more accurate/consistent...but much more difficult to find in stock

Say someone breaks in to your home, sees you with a gun and run AWAY. You cannot then still shoot, they are no longer a threat. They must pose animminentthreat to you, and fear is not a justification to use deadly force.
There are a lot of nuances to gun laws and use of force (shooting); there is a lot to learn.
Feel free to PM me if you like with questions and I'm happy to help with CA specific answers.

I try to stay away from these discussions whenever they come up. It's the same thing every time - one group of people kneejerks to defend the dead guy no matter what he was doing, removing all of their credibility, and the other camp kneejerk insists that if he was shot (usually by police, because cops are never wrong in their eyes) he had it coming. What ever happened to, "I'll just wait until I have more details?"
Nope. Too busy race baiting for or against. Thanks Obama (srs).

If Obama's son's friend committed strong armed robbery then attacked a cop and fractured facial bones for which he got shot, O would send high profile delegates to the funeral because of the injustice

Yeah I'm coming back full circle to Glock. I don't think I've had that much fun shooting my KKM Roland Comp Glock 19 than any other gun I have, Sig Legion x5 included

Built a pull-up bar in the basement today (unfinished laundry room). Took longer than planned . . . should know better by now that if I'm counting on certain things being square and not having nails and crap right where I need to go--that it won't be that simple. But, knocked it out and that thing is rock solid. Used 1" pipe & fittings.

So they decide to grab a long gun and chase after someone for questioning or citizen's arrest? They escalated the situation by brandishing a firearm right off the bat with no immediate threat. They created the situation and the escalation that led to someone being killed. The shooter will go to jail for murder and the others will probably go down for aiding and abetting.Whether he was burglarizing sites or not is immaterial if the shooters didn't have "immediate knowledge" of it. They were already outside the scope of a citizens arrest. The citizens arrest argument was always retarded.
Whether or not stopping in the road is detainment is another matter. I don't think it constitutes a threat by itself.

Has Dual given his opinion on this yet? Does anyone know how old he is?
