You're right. I'm not stressed out by being sick, it's more that my mothers stress is stressing me out.

It kind of hurt my feelings when I found out my mother is only upset because it means she can't have her granddaughter over, not because her son is sick lol.

Hope it's not the Corona and if it is you only have a mild case. Drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest.

THE FOLLOWING IS MY OPINION NOT MEDICAL ADVICE BUT WHAT I WOULD DO

Dumbazz sheep running to the doc for testing. What the fuk is a test gonna do bro? You are sick with a virus regardless, even if its not corona its obviously bad so wether its last years flu or covid or a strong rhinovirus at this point it doesnt fkin matter cuz u have it. If you get stabbed with a shank a blade or a pick, it doesnt matter if they are all 3 inches in length do u get what im saying?

My point is HEAL YOURSELF. Focus on megadosing vitamin C, via supps as well as fruit, squeeze lotta lime an lemon in a throat coat tea for instance. Also make fruit smoothies minus the milk, use water and frozen fruit.

Also dose up on zinc, and elderberry lozenges.

Last but not least put RAW GARLIC in your mouth and let the juice leak down into your throat no homo. It is anti viral and anti bacterial, killed a bad throat infection i had basically over night.

Remember bro your health is all on you. Wtf is a doctor gonna tell u besides take fever reducer? Which you actually SHOULDNT because fever is ur body immune response to kill the virus.

Yeah I was thinking that going to a clinic would be a bad idea, but my folks seem dead set on making me go.

I think I should wait it out, and I'll probably have to fight them on that.

As for food I can have takeout delivered, or have my folks grocery shop for me.

No insurance since I got laid off, so I gotta call the 2-1-1 number to get a doctor who can give me a doctors order for testing.

Is it over for me?
The CDC stats before it hit the US is that 99.9% of people get only mild symptoms. I'm in PA and was very angry to see that 80% deaths have been in nursing homes. However, we are on red alert until June, and I guess it will transition into yellow until July.

However, this thing hurts almost no one in the population.

Me and several coworkers had it in the end of February and my gf had it seemingly twice. She used to smoke and I think it hit her a little harder, but she was over it in days. I thought it was the flu in her but corona can be gone in days, which was the case.

I had it with extreme fatigue symptoms and very annoying intestinal issues. My typical response to illness is to bundle up and exercise. That raises body temp and simulates a fever. I did this daily and mine was gone in a week. I did not do squats due to the bathroom issues, lol.

I read a science study on the role of high blood sugar and virus proliferation. High blood sugar helps all virus thrive and corona is included. That may be why fat people and diabetics are at risk. So, the recommendation was to keep carbs low if sick.

I'm sure you will bounce back fast.

Get a mask. If it can be N95, that's best.

Wash your hands, be aware of touching stuff, and tell your mom you are worried, so you're wearing a mask.

As I've said, wear warm clothes and get a sweat going for about an hour each day. Fight the thing off that way and before you know it it will be gone.

Yeah I don't see the point in testing either. There's no treatment for mild symptoms.

Have you ever had a basic cold or even the flu? Did you die? No? Nearly everyone doesn’t just die from a weak virus. You’re fine.

Consider the world population. Consider the amount of covid deaths. No need to panic, but let’s panic anyway. Let’s completely destroy the economy, ruin people’s lives, cause suicides, delay important surgeries that people are now dying from not having, let’s ignore the domestic dispute deaths, let’s ignore everything else

Stay home, save lives.

That's good.

A high body temp kills virus, bacteria, and fungus. I have noted that most gym people I know never get sick, and that is why. Exercising brings body temp up to fever levels and so it's the same thing. If your body has a fever it sensed that something is wrong and "feverons" got released and so you have to make sure it doesn't get out of control.

But, that's usual game over for an illness when you have a fever, so it won't last long.

"Breaking a fever" is a myth. All over-dressing will accomplish is raising body temperature further causing worse fever.

There's a reason we put patients in high temperature ranges on ice.

Once you get ill with a virus it's already too late to try and shorten the time of infection, it will run it's course regardless.

90% of the population gets it

the true fatality rate is like 0.03%, they KNOW this from the antibody testing done in california

they KNOW its airborne. not aerosol transmitted. everyone eventually gets it.

OP youre like 25, you will be fine. You'll have a cough and some flu symptoms.
