People who dont know whats happening are like white girls without an iphone, you stick out.

When someone with knowledge of how to trade says buy BTC at a low and pull profits when it goes way above the price you bought at it means you dont hold it like a retard because you wanna be greedy and see it moon to whatever figure you dream of it being.

Buy @ 3k? Selling at 8k or more? How much profit is that? Only greedy dumb fuks dont see that as a good thing.

if you dont get this concept then stay away from trading and crypto.

Not that this is going to change anything but if you are going all in in bitcoin you are legit a retard and it's a miracle you ever had money in the first place.

I would bet that not a single person in this thread actually understand how bitcoin works, but invest and like to talk big, even tho their knowledge is very limited. Hell, even my knowledge is pretty limited, but everyone with an ounce of brain should see that bitcoin will NOT work long term. I hold crypto myself, but bitcoin is trash. Just admit it. Bitcoin still exist because whales make big money off of it, thats the only reason the price hasn´t collapsed to $2k.

It´s pretty common knowledge in the crypto smart circle that bitcoin won´t survive long term, most people just dont speak out loud about it.

I understand very well how Bitcoin works, right from the consensus algorithm and SHA256, confirmations and double spending, Segwit, Lightning, ASICs and mining, to the market dynamics of it. It's entirely possible that Bitcoin will eventually fizzle out and be replaced by something else but that is anything but "known" or likely to happen.

It has literally slim to no chance at survivng long term, several academic papers have been written on it. It´s flawed technically, economically and socially just like my signature says. Go ahead and ask the smartest people in crypto, most will say that bitcoin will fail. Just ask Mike Hearn, Nick Szabo, vitalik, vlad, Arthur Breitman, or pretty much any former bitcoin core developer, go ahead ask em. The case against bitcoin is very strong, and the case for bitcoin is not nearly as strong. The market will not ignore better blockchains forever. Bitcoin maximalists literally think bitcoin will stay on top just because it was the first, lmao.

If you are talking literally many decades or more in the future (block rewards approaching 0 around 2140) then I don't necessarily disagree, and PoS algos like Cardano's Ouroboros or ETH's Casper and similar tech will absolutely take the forefront. I'm talking more in the next 2-5 years as we possibly move into another bull cycle. I am in no way a maxi lol

Correct, no one can predict the future. However, countless scientific studies prove what is the best long term investment strategy, no matter which market: diversified buy and hold.
