Anyone fuk around with Blueforce Gear's Pocket holsters? Im generally a big fan of their stuff, and wanted one for my G42 I ordered in.

I have a Desantis nemesis for my P365 that i fukin love, but the blueforce looks like a smaller footprint

No difference in Gen5 and the rest right?

Also I think I looked up that sight pusher you recommended the other day and it was sold out. Can confirm? Anybody out here beating out glock sights with a rock since no M&P?

Yes, there is a difference. I tried putting an already-had-it set of older night sights (Trij HD) onto my first Gen5 Glock and the point of impact was noticeably off (vertical). For gen5, Ameriglo Agent for gen5 all the way (some come with them from the factory even)

I hear it is possible to drive the rear sight on Glocks. Haven't tried, but they do consistently slide a lot easier than on any of the M&P's (and front sight screws). Speaking of the front sight, do yourself a favor and buy one of these

https://smile.amazon.com/Raiseek-Fro..._t2_B077J5KZ52

That front sight tool and the magazine baseplate tool are both worth their weight in gold, practically. You can certainly do the jobs without those, but it's 10x easier with therighttool.

It's kind of expensive for just one kind of gun, but for most Glocks

Just saw a comment on a Youtube video that summed up the CA background check on ammo perfectly.

"Having to pass a background to buy ammo is like having to take a driving test every time you want to buy gas.

Already passed a background check for the gun, enough is enough."

Seems the arguments against and for the stay order on removing the background check are in, so it's moving forward slowly. It would be nice if this law was removed, and hopefully the magazine cap follows. Every little bit people take back from the CA Gov is a win.

Don't forget also having to register a car that requires 91+ octane in order to unlock the premium gas at the pump. Ditto registering a diesel to your name if you're going to unlock the diesel pump

The system, however, frequently denies sale, for no reason, to people with a perfect background. THAT is the feature. That is the reason you have it.

Heh, I failed the background check, so do a lot of my coworkers, system is so broken. They asked if I wanted to do the $19 check which is more thorough, just said fck it and left.

Doubt it will work, more and more people just don't care and are ignoring lock down orders. I really hope this flips CA, or at least some of it, in the elections.

Coalinga declared all businesses essential, so nothing 'needs' to close here which is great, so many small Mom and Pop shops would be destroyed if they closed here.

Doing some cleaning and lubing (awww yeah) decided on a family pic.

Top to bottom: AR 15, all Spikes Tactical with Geiselle 2 stage DRM trigger, Glock 36 Gen 3, Ruger PC Carbine, Chiappa Rhino 50DS, Arak 21 with Anderson lower and Spikes lower kit, Glock 21 Gen 4, Ruger Mini 14 in Sparta Archangel stock, Glock 19 Gen 5, Aero Precision complete 7.5" upper with Spike's BCG (lower being built atm), Maverick 88.

Feels like I need more... all pictured firearms are CA compliant when in storage. *cough*

It's a fixed sight, not flip up.

Low quality pic, but 'Up' arrow is pointing towards muzzle. *Instructions said up to muzzle, though it is a cheap Chinese sight; accurate to 200 yards though.

For CA brahs it's going to be interesting to see how Orange County handles extended lockdowns. Some stores already opening up and board of supervisors / sheriff is basically like cool have fun, carry on.

Disagree that all protections should be removed. There should be more serious repercussions though, Judge's ability to sign off on warrants should be looked into (was a no knock warranted?), team leader and commander on the ground should be relieved and not able to participate on any warrant services anymore, etc. It should be a career killer not years in jail.

Woke up to 2 inches of snow, but the smoker was calling. Two racks of St. Louis cut spareribs and an end cut beef tenderloin roast. Used black cherry wood logs.

Got the smoke ring almost all the way to the bone on all sides

After slicing the tenderloin was so tended I could cut it with my finger

Getting the fire going

I'm imagining waking up to the sound of breaking glass in the middle of the night and then seeing the sheer terror on the burglar's face as one of these canisters comes bouncing down the staircase followed shortly after by me, completely naked except for a gas mask and an AR.

A muffled "REEEEEEE!" from inside the gas mask is the last thing the burglar ever hears.
And relief washes over me in an awesome wave
