Scent of the Morning: Bortnikoff - Coup de Foudre Cologne

Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Sweet Orange, White Grapefruit, Green Tea, Black Pepper
Middle Notes: Jasmin, Rose de Mai, Champaca, Ylang Ylang
Basenotes: Cinnamon, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Pine, Sandalwood, Pink Lotus Infusion



Tried it last night on wrist and thought it was too gourmand, but doing a 3 spray wearing out in the rain and cool spring air... think it's stunning. Smells great, strong, but not too thick. The sillage aroma on this is just heavenly.

It included samples of Moss Cologne which smells way too challenging. Vesna Cologne smells like it fits right in with Amber and Musk Cologne. It's like Bortnikoff spin on Creed's Royal Water/Erolfa

Pretty decent. It doesnt have the same dank "inky" note as the original but it's only apparent when smelling side by side on each arm.

To the average person, there's no discernible difference.

@Pap - you gotta get your hands on a Bortnikoff Vesna Cologne sample. I feel like this is right up your alley.

Lemon, Black Tea, Tomato Leaf, Pineapple, Magnolia, Dried Fruits Extrait, Nagarmotha.

Simple, light, elegant af, but unique. Great summer frag. But if I know anything about our past fragrance history, you're going to think it smells like a homeless person's angus simply because i also like it lol.

LMAO, probably would. I'll try to get a sample from Yacouba on my next order. I smelled Sayat Nova and it was pretty decent. Im not sure i would spend $350 on a bottle, but its def wearable.

The Armaf - Bucephalus No. XI is supposed to be the superior clone to Creed Aventus, I've never smelt Creed Aventus but I do own CDNIM the Bucephalus has more fruity notes especially the Pineapple so I like it more than CDNIM. I have gotten more compliments with the Bucephalus XI than CDNIM.

LFL Tuesdays Scent of the Evening - Alexandria Fragrances "California Winter 2018"







Was talking about this one recently. Bought it when it came out like a 1.5 years ago, hated it and gave it to one of my wingmen. Stopped over his place today just to have some drinks and shoot the chit, and found that this MF still has it lol. put a dent in it too. Not gonna lie, it's not as bad as i remember. Leather isn't obnoxious at all and a nice little rasberry note on top. I dig it.

Tried getting into the xerjoff game early last year, I had two or three samples. Each one good, quality, but there was something in the house dna that would make me nauseous so i don't have much insight into xerjoff.
