OT today, aww yeah; had over 30 jobs when he called, weird, been dry as hell lately. Not complaining though, expecting it to pick up since we have a lot retiring, at least 30, by the end of July. About 100+ if Newsom does go through with a furlough, which seems unlikely IMO, given how many unions are fighting him on it. With all the OT that would create I'd easily make up for the furlough and still get in my 10+ OTs a month.

There's a lot we don't know about what lead up to the video. Like, it's been claimed they chased him for several minutes and tried to box him in between the the vehicles and the filmer may have already engaged with him in some way.

As I said way back at the beginning when Ike insisted it was a lawful citizen's arrest...these guys goofed and are fuked.

If you think you see somebody committing a crime, a crime where you have no reason whatsoever to believe anybody is in any physical danger of any kind, call the police. Don't chase the guy down with your shotgun like a dumb ass mother fukker.

Avoidance and deescalation, what they did is 100% opposite. Unless you are on duty as a sworn LEO, when nobody's safety is imminently on the line, mind your own ****ing business. Call the police if you really want to do something, otherwise, STFU and GTFO

Seems very odd, but appears he was at least unofficially empowered by police. I'm not saying you're wrong, but if there were numerous small crimes in my neighborhood and I saw someone I suspect has committed such a crime, I'd be inclined to do more than call the police. Does polishing the trigger on Glock's actually make the trigger feel better like less creep, cleaner break, ect.? I've already gotten some mother's polish and went to town with a dremel with buffer attachment after watching the Marinegunbuilder vids on Youtube. Since my damn front rail won't ever come in so I can test I'm asking you guys if I should expect it to feel better than a stock Glock trigger. My lower parts kit came from Lone Wolf distributors and is their enhanced package if that makes any difference

It has a 3.5lb trigger connector and 6lb trigger spring. The OEM Glock has a 5lb trigger connector and I think OEM has an 8lb trigger spring

It helps with the 'smoothness', less feeling like it's snagging as you pull. I love the Ghost 3.5lb kit in my Glock 21, measured the pull to about 4lbs, with springs, trigger bar, and polished trigger; very smooth.

Relentless says that if you only let the trigger out to its reset point, it's match grade in stock form.



Really you just need to shoot it some more. Dry fire, live fire, rinse, repeat.

No. Only way to get less creep is by going to a heavier connector and changing the angles of things. Polishing will just make it feel smoother and maybe a little lighter from less friction. If you want lighter while staying as crisp as possible you need to keep the standard connector and get an extra power trigger spring and/or lighter striker spring.

And no, the stock trigger spring is less then 6lbs. Heavier trigger spring makes the pull lighter because it assists in pulling the trigger back. Well gens 1-4 anyway.

IMO, I don't need something ultra durable like I'd consider if the thing was being carried all day. It'll go out to the range.. twice a month? If I was putting a dot on a pistol to wear all day I'd be spending a lot more.

Quality. I can count on my Holosun 510c to work, all the time, every time. I have had cheapo Amazon ones, they do work well enough, hold a zero fine, but they feel cheap; I wouldn't bank on them lasting years and hundreds of rounds. You could get away with a cheap one if you like, but after seeing and using a nicer one, the difference in build quality is night and day. If I am trusting something with my life, I want to know it is going to be up to the job.

If and when you can afford something at least mid priced, though, I'd probably take the step up to a Vortex Sparc AR and would definitely take the step up to a Trijicon MRO. Advantage over irons in that it's visible regardless of how much light is being cast on you and your rifle (which is often different than the light cast on your target and backstop) and there's no need to align two things with one another, just the one

The current Sparc AR is 50,000 hours using a AAA. IIRC it times out after like 8 hours so you do have to hit the button on the back to turn it on, but after that, it's on, and you do not have to remember to turn it off, it will do that itself and be ready to go the next time that way

It's not an Aimpoint or an MRO, but it doesn't cost what those do either.

Still better to swing for an MRO if you can, but the current Sparc AR is perfectly serviceable
