Immersion has been one of their main goals since day 1. Doesn't get any more immersive than 1st person. Some don't like the decision, but I highly doubt anyone in their right mind is going to pass on the game due to that one reason.

I definitely disagree with that. No first person game has ever immersed me more than the Silent Hill, Splinter Cell, and Metal Gear games (with the exception of Alien Isolation). I don't think camera view matters with immersion unless we're talking VR.

Fps is a better idea as long as there will be visible body and mirrors& reflections so I can spot my gains from time to time.

Witcher 3 was a clusterfuk when it comes to interacting with objects due to 3rd view.

Honestly this had nothing to do with it being third person. CDPR just had clunky interaction. There's tons of other third party games that interacting with objects around you is much more smooth.

CP2077 is an open-world RPG but it's also a shooter. Nobody questions Doom, Borderlands, Prey, Farcry, or even games like Dying Light, all of which do the FP/S + story thing well to extremely well

Still bickering about no 3rd person? I mean, what they're trying to do is seamlessly integrate gameplay and cutscenes, and for that 1st person only is a must. This is their new thing, their newest contribution to the industry standards regarding immersion.

Witcher 3 sucked indoors, and seeing as CP2077 will feature much more indoor activity, a lot of it vertical, it makes sense to scrap 3rd person and focus on 1st. You'll still be able to see your character in the menu, mirrors/reflections and in vehicles. That's enough for me.

Anyways, a lot of hype is on their shoulders. Fan expectations are out of this world and no matter how good the game is, a lot of them will be disappointed because they created this image of the game in their brain that isn't necessarily the reality. CDPR stocks will go down, their valuation is overrated and unless they sell GTAV numbers, which is impossible, their valuation will take a beating.

I believe that CDPR will release another gem with rave reviews. CDP have come a long way with just a handful of games released. They're already an industry giant, beholden to no 3rd party, they're their own developer and publisher, have their own DRM-free game store, universal launcher... The future is bright for CDP.

I'm not too sure. They said that even sex scenes are in FPP. Maybe crucial scenes like endings and important character deaths will get 3rd person cutscenes but if they really wanna make this whole FPP gameplay-cutscene integration work, it would be weird to include random 3rd person cutscenes. Either you go all in or just don't do it.

I've been following this game for a while and I haven't heard anything about paid cosmetics in singleplayer. That would most likely be the case for the multiplayer which will arrive after all the DLCs are out.

Seriously though, what is the point of customizing your genitals unless you are going to be seeing them? Those sex scenes are gonna be wild.

I haven't heard a single thing about paid cosmetics myself. Although I honestly don't care. Paid to aid in regress in the game or paid items: That would piss me off. Paying for cosmetics that don't affect game play: I don't really GAF.
