something about him being a murderer makes it hard for me to sympathise with him

hope he's crying like a bitch in there and scared for his life, just like that guy was crying for his mother

1) I guarantee there are cops there, plenty of them.
2) Jail the guy, just like any other murderer. Protect the family
3) Then go protect the neighborhood, not the murderer
4) Especially by the police who end up giving a slap on the wrist for the murderers. Chit will never change this way.
5) If I was a kiddy diddler and there was photos and video, I'd deserve it
6) I'm pretty sure I won't

Just lol at you calling me a low iq ****. Your insults show the level of your intellect. It's not looking great.

They don't put people in jail without being charged and in high profile cases is usually takes them a couple days-2 or 3 weeks to issue charges.

That question wasn't directed at me, why would I respond to it? My guess is it's probably some bureaucracy chit, judge is taking his sweet time signing the arrest warrant

The best case scenario is the guy is in jail right now, but seeing as that hasn't happened for whatever reason that is irrelevant to the current argument, the police do need to be there to stop people from lynching him and his family

Don't get me wrong I sincerely would enjoy it if this guy got the death penalty but if you think these cops protecting his home are doing anything wrong you're retarded

Im sure he is perfectly comfortable with a bunch of his former colleagues protecting his family, not so much him, from a mob, outside his house. IDC about him but his family has received death threats, hence the protection.

He is gonna get charged with something, he is gonna be indicted and THEN will most likely be remanded (thrown in jail) which is how it works, this isn’t some Wild West show where you can throw someone in jail without an indictment or conviction.

Negged moron

Another point I forgot to make: even if the murdering cop was in jail his family would still need protection, and if the looting happened anyway DESPITE him being arrested (a possibility), then they would indeed need an army

All evidence should be collected and analyzed and a case should be built against him. I never understood why rioting in the streets was the call. Why not setup a fund for the prosecution that people across the country could donate to if you feel so included. Would be far more effective in delivering results and deterring future scumbags.

I totally understand your point about Eppstein too. Something does not add up right on that one, but he is not the first **** to get smoked in jail.
There is a such thing as the court of public opinion and they already lost big time. There's no recovering from that. Even hypothetically if they won a trial that will just incite further civil unrest

Good chance again to assert that being a police officer has to easily be the worst profession in the United States

If he has any basic sanity at all, his family is not there. LOL at having them living in fear of being burned out to the point that they need an army guarding them.

I've been around a couple of murder proceedings in my life. The spouse always put the house up for sale and left the state ASAP, because she knew no matter what happened, living a normal life around town was done. This is 99x that.

It does suck and is wrong that his house might get trashed by a bunch of lawless *******s, but it's not like it isn't his own fault. Other buildings are being torched and that is a whole lot of officers who would be useful elsewhere. There comes a point where discretion is the better part of valor.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Nah thats bs. Only reason you think that is there will be times where a case will become high profile due to sketchy things like the person not being charged and then they finally get charged. Most recent example of that is the Ahmaud murder

Normally in these situations, one department gets help from other department(s) and in some cases, the NG.

.Looting and violent riots AREN'T justified. What happened was wrong but it was perfectly possible for people to express their anger about the situation through peaceful protests and demonstrations against police corruption. What he said is 100% correct.

****s don't get randomly thrown in jail. It takes weeks/months of building a case that will actually stick to them in the court of law instead of being dropped because of technicalities. They also by and large don't get the treatment in jail by other inmates you seem to imply they get.

Awh he is not comfortable with others protecting his family and wants to do it himself? TOO FUKIN BAD. Can you imagine if some gangbanger was sitting in jail for doing a drive by and went "hey guys you gotta let me out, they might come for my family for this drive by I did I gotta be there to protect them"? Lol at thinking him being in jail in going to stop these low IQ people from doing what they're doing too.

I wonder if all the *******s in here preaching about due process are the same ones that rush to defend the cops every time they execute an unarmed civilian in the street— without due process. Y’all are just mad that the whole thing was caught on tape this time so there’s no room for “b-b-but we don’t know what happened before the video started. The cop could have been afraid for his safety!”

This murderer should be sitting in jail.

Lol at thinking him being in jail in going to stop these low IQ people from doing what they're doing too.
because if anybody else choked somebody to death in public in front of multiple witnesses and cameras they would be going straight to a jail cell

this continued preferential treatment pisses people off
