Question, who rebuilds the neighborhood after a riot? And why would I want to invest in such a neighborhood?

If you think people look at the burning and looting of a Target or a Wendy's as anything good that can promote change? You are a very very delusional person. It completely turns people off.

And you cannot compare something like the Boston Tea party-involving the overthrowing of an entire govt, or the civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s-blacks now have full rights, to one police officer doing something stupid.

I really cannot wait and I expect to see another post from you talking about the 50 people shot (black on black) in Chicago this past weekend including a 5 year old girl. And I also expect posts from you talking about the black guy that shot and killed the white senior citizens visiting their sons grave recently. Sniper shot them from 100 yards away. And of course the black man who repeatedly beat the white senior citizen to the point of near death.

Because if one black mans death by the police (and the police should be charged with murder there) results in the destruction, looting, and robbery of Minneapolis, and you support that, then certainly these other incidents where whites were killed by blacks deserve the same attention right? Especially when Blacks commit violent crimes on whites at a rate 5 x that of white on black crime.

So this is just a topic of conversation with 1 cop doing something wrong? That's what you think this narrative is huh, and not the systemic problems within that particular police department?
It's done all it can in this one single incident to try and control it. They knew they were ****ed so they threw them all under the bus to try and limit. But don't act like MPD is blameless and this is 4 bad actors.

They paid out $14m for police misconduct between 2006 and 2012, in 2015 one of their officers told a teenager "...If you **** with me I'm going to break your legs..", in 2013 three of their officer were drinking at a bar and beat a black man. in 2010 they flashbanged a woman in her home giving her third degree burns and had to pay out $1m. In 2013 two off duty MPD officers were caught texting Green bay officers calling them "N i * s" and "Fa**ots", at least one of these officers was involved in severely beating a black man in 2010 and was involved in a wrongful death suit for an African man who was tortured and killed. In 2017 Justine Diamond was murdered by an on duty officer. In 2016 an oversight commission found that making a misconduct complaint was difficult if not nearly impossible, undercover lawyers observed cases of obstruction in this and of the 439 complaints actually filed, no officers were disciplined.

This is not 4 poorly trained officers, this is a department with a history of misconduct dating back decades, that's the issue at hand. Not just that 4 cops were brazen enough to kill a guy in broad daylight while being recorded.

So there’s been no injustices committed by the LAPD since then? That’s pretty cool.

If previous riots over police injustices brought about substantial, effective, and long lasting changes in the justice system and law enforcement officers executing their duties, this thread probably wouldn’t exist. But here we are.

I will say again so it’s not misconstrued - the Minneapolis police involved in this murder are true pieces of chit and deserve whatever the maximum extent of the law can throw at them.

A crowd threw bottles and cursed at Chicago police officers as they arrested an 18-year-old man on gun charges Tuesday night near where a 5-year-old girl and two teenage boys were wounded in a drive-by shooting, authorities said.

The officers radioed a “10-1” call for assistance, but no injuries were reported, and the man, Shamar Le Quan Hunter, was taken to a police station and charged with aggravated unlawful use of weapon, police said.

Hunter was not charged in connection with the shooting, which occurred around 10:40 p.m. in the 200 block of West Pershing Road near the Wentworth Gardens housing complex. Someone in a passing dark-colored car fired shots and hit a 5-year-old girl in the leg, a 15-year-old boy in the leg and face, and a 16-year-old boy in the leg.

All three were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition, officials said.

Officers responding to the shooting saw a man holding his waistband hurriedly walking away from them. The officers ordered him to stop, but he began running and was hit in the face by a tree branch and fell, police said.

As the officers placed him under arrest, they were “surrounded by a hostile crowd that began yelling profanities while threatening to harm them if they did not let the individual in custody go,” police said in a statement. “Also, glass bottles were being thrown in an attempt to harm the officers.”

Nope. Not a community problem at all; it’s all the white man’s fault.

I'm talking about violating their constitutional rights, a Black man with a legal gun is scary enough to justify shooting him, you can search a Black man without cause, you can stifle his freedom of travel, you can issue excessive fines to him Blacks do not have equal protection under the law in practice only in theory. Slavery is still legal if you can prove someone committed a crime, therefor laws can be created that will net more Blacks if one was so inclined. Has anyone ever been so inclined? I could go on but the point has been made.

Everybody thinks the officer should be sent to prison. The officers have been fired. The feds are looking into the case.

Why are we rioting again?

Not supporting the rioting in ANY WAY. People are taking advantage of the situation and committing violence, looting, arson and its disgusting.

The unrest and reason for protest is because it happened again. The third major police shooting in the area in the past 4 years. If not for the video this would have been covered up, again, as indicated by the initial police report. The officers STILL have not been arrested.

The unrest and reason for protest is because it happened again. The third major police shooting in the area in the past 4 years. If not for the video this would have been covered up, again, as indicated by the initial police report. The officers STILL have not been arrested.
George Floyd was arrested for pointing a gun at a woman and robbing her house.

Then why not go riot specifically at the police only?

Why do they have to loot from random stores and destroy **** that does not pertain to the situation at hand?

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."
