On a srs I noticed that all these racial tensions in the US happen most in the northern states and Westcoast, while both white and black communities seem much more at peace with each other in the south. Wich is quite an oxymoron if you believe in what we learned in school about the south USA

The growing radicalism of the left / Democrats is that if you aren't supportive of them or their movement because you grew up with a different set of values, then you're ignorant, bigoted and racist.

Often we see that the LGBTQ+ community can be a very accepting loving community, but if you don't support it (because of your religious beliefs or simply because you didn't grow up in that kind of household) then they can be bullying.

Same goes for Black Lives Matter, you'll notice that more white people are quicker to call for action / justice to be served and to side with them, but what about when white kids get shot up in schools? Lastly, men have been tarnished now by companies like Gillette as "toxic" -- that all men (of any race / descent) are evil.
Feminists and lbgtq absolutely do not tolerate masculinity. They try to shut down anything that is remotely masculine and even opinions that are different than theirs.

People that live here notice the same thing. I'm sure there are backwoods communities where racism is prevalent, but we live in relative harmony together here compared to what I see in other parts of the country.

I've had this exact conversation with a Black woman who moved here (Nashville area) from another part of the country. Ohio I think. And she was the one who brought it up.

I might be, if you're only looking at it as black-and-white issue (color wise all or nothing, not race lol), which is the opposite of what I'm intending to say with my post. As for the fuking off part, I will say that to anyone of any race or ethnicity. It's tongue- in- cheek, but if the person I'm talking to legitimately has a problem with the US and just doesn't like it, i'll reiterate it.

A lot of people in this situation, and most situations generally , adhere to the "if you're not with us, you're against us" mentality. And it's only getting worse as time goes on for the most part. People continue to identify deeper and deeper with their beliefs, rather than the beliefs just being a part of the person as a whole. I can be with you on some points, but also against you on others even in the same situation. Case in point...I'm all for charging and trying that officer with the worst possible murder there is since there's no excuse to leave your knee on someone's neck after they're subdued and they're telling you they can't breath. But I don't in any way support looting, or the destruction of property belonging to people and companies that had no direct part in this.

I'm just pointing out how hilarious it is that every message out there is directed towards whites for not doing enough/needing to do more, or towards blacks to stand up and be heard/not back down, and how since my race hasn't been address, it leaves me in a nice gray area where neither side expects much at all.

Anything can be taken and used for a narrative. If black people wanna do that to my statement, then they can feel free to even if it's disingenuous. And for the record, no one gives, gave, or will GAF about anti-chinese sentiment, except the victims of each specific instance. Even the Chinese-Americans.

EDIT: and if you were referring to anti-chinese sentiments being towards the country of china or their citizens not living in the USA...you're fukin right we shouldn't GAF. those fukers are more focused on public image than anything, and undoubtedly made the whole COVID-19 situation worse than it needed to be with their lies, cover-ups, and general shady dealings.
