Yesterday got invited over to another couple's rooftop for cocktails. Got to dress up, throw the loafers on, etc. was really nice. Went with Roja Dove - Aoud for that occasion.

Today i'm chillin on the balcony just sorting out my week. Rockin a hoodie in 58F/15C weather, going with Bortnikoff - Amber Cologne.


Edit: just received an email from Byredo. They're sending out "free" samples of lil fleur but you have to pay $11 shipping. went ahead and ordered it because why not? Also just went on ebay and got samples of some Byredos i've been meaning to check out:Rose Noir, Encens Chambur, and Super Cedar

Yeah I can barely find faults in this one for a summer scent. What I like is that it's not extremely light but also has some heavy punch with the musks that weigh it down. The fragrance molecules literally stick to my nose. 2 mins ago I took a sniff it, then Nautica Voyage. I'm now away from my frag cabinet and I can still smell light blue eau intense and that's only from sniffing the nozzle.

Wood ravage. She says Nautica Voyage and Versace Man Eau Fraiche are very elegant while rating Aventus lower. Lol. Her fave of the bunch were Sauvage and Armani Stronger with you Freeze.

Anyone own Versace Pour Homme? I can a small bottle of it for a killer deal locally right now. Not sure if worth it though or I should just pay more and get light blue intense

I have a bottle and find it very similar to Allure Homme Sport. The openings of both fragrances are very similar but have different dry downs. I usually reach for AHS over VpH.

Light blue intense for sure. It has depth and insane performance for a freshie so even though you pay more you'll be using less sprays.

SOTD: MFK Oud Satin Mood.

Love it. Perhaps a little strong/rich for a sunny afternoon outside. It's more of a sipping an old fashioned in a hotel bar on a wet evening kind of fragrance?

Smokey, woody tones, but with a very slight hint of sweetness.

SOTD:Prada Luna Rossa Sport.


Smells similar to JPG Le Male, but much smoother and more natural and mature, with the juniper berries and ginger. Not quite as powdery as Luna Rossa Black, and doesn't have the musk note of that one, either. Very nice fresh and sweet scent. Didn't care for Carbon, as the metallic and pepper notes were too screechy for me, but I'm considering full bottles of either Black or Sport, or both.

Still have OG Luna Rossa as well as Luna Rossa Extreme to try, so will hold off deciding until then.

It's in my top 10 of all time and I mention it all the time here. Will be a full bottle purchase for me but my samples are lasting a damn awful long time so I'm not worried. I'm in the Caribbean and this only works on rainy days or in the night. Another thing to note is the nuclear performance. I usually just do one spray and rarely 2 if I need it to go strong for the day. I was never a fan of rose in fragrances but this was the one that captivated me. It's just incredibly intoxicating.

SOTM: Rawdah by Ormonde Jayne. A fruity floral, reminds me of a more wearable version of Boadecia Empire. They use a pretty decent pineapple note in this one.

SOTN:Prada Luna Rossa Extreme.


A black pepper bomb for the first hour or so, then it dries down to a beautiful vanilla and lavender with a cinnamon/clove vibe. I'd definitely full bottle this one if it smelled like the drydown all the way through, but the pepper is overwhelming at the beginning. At least it doesn't add the weird metallic note from Luna Rossa Carbon.

Jaguars are all pretty cheap smelling to me. I own the black bottle. Check fragrantica for notes. Guys here don't like burner dumb reach cheapies but you can find good stuff decently priced. Think Bentley or Lalique lines.

Props bro, I like great smelling cheapies for normal work days but I have expensive bangers for special days. Rather use the burners up first but still smell great in the process.
