George Floyd was killed wrongfully and literally everyone wants justice for him. I haven't seen one single person arguing otherwise.

EDIT: Based on new information regarding the autopsy showing he died of a heart attack and NOT asphyxiation, and there was no structural damage to his neck and that Chauvin was using a legal maneuver for restraining a resisting suspect, and that Floyd was high on ******** (which slows your breathing/heart rate) and Meth (which resulted in his death), as well as the bodycam footage that shows he was saying "I can't breathe" over and over again before Chauvin ever even got to the scene and long before he was even on the ground (which he asked to be put on the ground himself), I no longer believe he was "killed" by Chauvin and I believe all 4 officers involved should and WILL be completely exonerated in a court of law.



However every single protest going on right now is based on the narrative that police are disproportionately killing/shooting black people, and it's not true by any statistical measure whatsoever.



We also have uninformed influential public figures like Lebron James tweeting things like "We are literally hunted every time we leave our house.":



That is obviously not true. And when it comes to overall violence, not just police violence, it's actually emphatically the other way around, if anything:




You can blame it on socioeconomic reasons, the high rate of single fatherhood in the black community, poverty, whatever you want. That's an entirely different conversation where I do actually believe there are legitimate gripes of injustices. However the bottom line is the numbers are what they are, and black people commit overwhelmingly disproportionate amounts of violent crime, whether it's black on black or black on white. It's not even fukking close.

The media cherrypicks incidents where black people are the victim and amplifies them to the sheep, clueless public, in an effort to portray the country as systematically racist. Whereas if you look at actual statistics, it's literally the exact opposite.

The reason the media pushes these false narratives is to portray America as racist so that they can push propaganda for leftists/the Democratic Party. Regarding the issue of "WE'RE PROTESTING BECAUSE HE HASN'T EVEN BEEN ARRESTED YET!!!!":


A lot of the "protestors" were "protesting" because Derek Chauvin hadn't been arrested within the first few days of him killing George Floyd. This is because authorities need to INVESTIGATE the crime. If they don't investigate and they rush charging him, they either risk overcharging him and him getting off completely, or they are forced to undercharge him to ensure any kind of conviction, which leads to him getting off easy, which again NOBODY wants.

Everyone clamoring for them to arrest and charge Chauvin, well it's recently been revealed that Chauvin and Floyd actually worked together in the past and may have known each other. A full thorough investigation, could find that Chauvin and Floyd may have had some kind of beef, and that there was some kind of intent behind why he kneeled on his kneck for 10 minutes straight for no reason. Guess what? That'd bring a 3rd degree murder charge, to a FIRST degree murder charge, which would lead to Chauving going away for LIFE. But people would rather loot and burn down small (mostly black owned) businesses and sucker punch white people in 10 on 1 gang attacks, than wait for the investigation to play out, because we live in a society of small minded fukking retarded sheep who believe everything the media and ******* celebrities on twitter tell them.

This is not a black/white race thing. In July 2017, black Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor wrongfully shot and killed a completely innocent white woman named Justine Damond/Ruszczyk. It took them 8 months to complete the investigation. For those 8 months, Noor was on paid administrative leave, as per the rules of the police officers union (which is the right thing to do because if an officer is innocent they shouldn't have to go 8 months without income).

Let's assume you are the head of police.

You have 2 different neighborhoods. One is High Income, one is lower income.
Lower income communities have historically had higher crime rates. example, the russain murder rate is like 3x that of americas.

So you see that there is more crime there, and send most of your boys to police that neighborhood. Few years pass
Crime report is done, and its found that the poorer community is commiting more crimes. The reason for that is because there are MORE POLICE AROUND TO CATCH THOSE CRIMES.
This is substantiated by blacks and whites consuming marijuana at around the same level but blacks somehow have 2x the incarceration rate for it. More incarceration -> increased poverty -> increased crime. Cycle repeats

And as I said, you can blame it on socioeconomic reasons, whatever you want. What you're talking about is an entirely different conversation which I think you and I would probably find a lot of common ground on. There are legitimate gripes about racial injustice and there's police reform that I am 100% in favor of fixing.

But that doesn't change the fact that the media is pushing a false narrative right now. THAT is the point of this thread. Do you agree or disagree with that, and why?

You forgot to mention that George Floyd had a prior arrest (among many others) for breaking into the home of a pregnant black woman (by pretending to be from the water department) and beating her senseless with a pistol in front of her 1 year old daughter and robbing her house. He also pointed the gun at her pregnant belly when she said she didn't have any money or drugs. And feminists are sharing pictures and tributes in his honour. ****ing lol.

america is huge man. what people say about the news is true. not even going into the deep conspiracies. but when i stay off of it and social media.. i went to work the other day, everything was fine. i went everywhere normally, everything was fine. didn't seem to be any protests where im from.

there have been some somewhat close to me, but ultimately i haven't seen anything whatsoever. but the second i go on social media i see tons of chit about it, or if i go to the news, etc.

i just looked up the amount of cities in the u.s. and there are 19,495 cities. you could take 10 different cities and make it look pretty bad. or hell even 100, and that's still a fraction of the entirety of the u.s.. 100 different cities would give you a lot of material to work with
