It's not just killing, its constant harrassment and violation of rights.
It's driving while black, its walking while black, police and society at large has made being black illegal.
More likely to be arrested and more likely to receive a harsher sentence.

Your first two sentences are valid, but the point of it is that's not what people are burning cities down over. They're burning them down because they believe black people are being killed disproportionately by police officers, as well as white people in general, which I've explicitly shown is not true.

As for more likely to be arrested, black people commit more crime, which yes is going to lead to more arrests. Having prior convictions leads to harsher sentences.

As for your last point, just going to assume you didn't actually read any of the thread. You can falsely label me a white supremacist if you want, I don't care at all. The words "racist" and "white supremacist" and "nazi" have literally lost every single ounce of their meaning over the past few years.

It's confirmed. He served 5 years in prison for it. I didn't mention it because ultimately it isn't relevant to my overall point, or to the point that Chauvin deserves to be charged with murder. Yes Floyd is a horrible martyr and it's annoying to see him propped up as some kind of great guy, but ultimately his past isn't relevant to the current case.

I dunno there could definitely be some truth to this. But even if everything you say is true, there's a reason why things are that way.Anyjob requires efficient allocation of resources. If one neighbourhood, or group of people, is causing a disproportionate amount of trouble and crime of course it's going to get more attention. It would be irresponsible of the police if it didn't.

How do you fix that though, is the question. Seems the left has decided the answer is to put police under a microscrope and enormous pressure, which IMO is absolutely phucked. It will lead to hard-working, good policemen who are of great value to society losing their lives because they are too scared to apply necessary force when arresting certain criminals, as well as these criminals being under-arrested and spending more time on the streets comitting crimes than they otherwise would.

I think part of the issue concerns the theories on how best to improve the lives of black Americans. The Democratic party and with that most journalists are Democrats hold and promote the view that wide spread racism causes black Americans to not do better. I believe there to be problems with the theory about how wide spread the issue of racism is, but it's an idea that has captured the black communities thoughts. It's also a money making industry for some too.

There are more problems though in the black community and with race relations and addressing these issues would likely result in improved lives for the black American community. Addressing these issues though is less promoted.

Srs, though. I agree that the racial narrative is misleading, but for different reasons. Turning it into a race issue obscures the larger issue and turns what could be real police reform to improve law enforcement's relationship with the people and reduce violence on both sides, not to mention wasted taxpayer dollars, into "thoughts and prayers" with black squares. This is about alienating whites from the debate to protect the establishment union agenda, not African-Americans.

Incidentally, LOL at comparing "unarmed blacks killed" vs. "police officers killed". How many of those police officers were unarmed? If you compare apples to apples and compare all fatal encounters, it becomes irrelevant.
