Then the ones I'm personally interested in trying are Side Effect, Rehab, Another 13, Gypsy Water, Elysium Extrait and Roja Amber Aoud Absolue Precieux which from all the hype this gets should be the one fragrance out there that could possibly dethrone 540 Extrait for me.
I should probably just send luckyscent an email and beg them to ship to me.

My Paco rabanne black XS L'exces on the other hand DEFINITELY smells like pineapple. A ripe, sweet pineapple that has a synthetic shower gel touch but I really don't mind. It has no dark notes to give it some dimension but at least it's most definitely a pineapple note.

The oud is a bit vegetal which was new to me but the creaminess that comes out in the dry down with some nice saffron sweetness is pretty memorable. When things get back to normal I definitely have to try out side effect and rehab.

Lol, why is it so light. I'm in a small room by myself and I have to move my head around and search to pick up the scent. I get a slightly sweet and citrusy bergamote with a hint of pepper way in the back. Aventus is more of a light citrus scent like Xerjoff Nio with some added pepper and maybe a hint more sweetness.
CDNIM is just so much more powerful and thick. It slaps you in the face and you can always smell it. The birch note is just a roundhouse kick to the senses. Why would you choose Aventus over CDNIM is beyond me. At least I never have to struggle to smell CDNIM.
Also, I have to say that this reminds me of the citrus/orange elements of Nishane Ani. Except Ani is sexier as it adds some depth with that beautiful dusty vanilla.
So I was spot on with my impression. Aventus is okay. I wish it was stronger and just....more.

Also yes, Ani is more on the orange side of citrus. It's not prominent by any means though. Its purpose is to just add some dimension to a vanillic focused scent. I'll be getting a bottle of this for sure.
