Nah the guy needs to resign and they trickle back in. That's two malicious prosecutions in two weeks. This is why we have unions and things like arbitration for employment rights. These dudes cant even get an investigation into the facts and even worse, this guy came out and straight up lied to all the people of Atlanta. There may be some sort of satisfaction through vengeance but after making such claims that are unsubstantiated, think about the fallout when he gets acquitted.

Eh lived in Atlanta for 4 years. Never seen anything like that before. Definitely seen some pass up minor violations, but nothing like you're talking about. Likely an isolated event. Dont forget weed in Atlanta is basically a parking ticket

I loved ATL cops. I'm from a small county in va where the cops rape you for anything and everything. 7 miles an over over ticket, and anything you can imagine. I got indicted for 2.5 grams of weed. One cop said "ive been working for 20 years and never seen that" all because some small dick **** had a vendetta against me.

in ATL, after work me and a couple of my coworkers were drinking and smoking a blunt, he came up to us to talk to us about a girl we knew, we put the blunt out, kept drinking, he didn't say anything. Now if we were ignorant *******s im sure he woulda given us a ticket.

I've been arrested twice, never resisted so never faced consequences like these people. it's pretty simple.

yea makes sense. Never been to a concert to see what he's talking about, but can confirm Atlanta as a whole isn't like that. Worked in downtown Atlanta for 3 years. Love the police department actually. Where im from originally they're dicks and want to nail you for every minor infractions and actually make me hate cops.

I wish we could get back to cops helping people. Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with recent events, think cops are unfairly portrayed as bad people when 98% are good, but I wish we could get back old time vibe where a cop will drive you home or something of the sort, and it's not just cops it's people too. Just a sad new reality I guess

It shows an impulsiveness and lack of control for him to do that on a national podcast. He is CEO of a publicly traded company, its not just his money anymore and he is responsible to those investors to generate returns for their investments not behave recklessly like that.

Also if anyone else at space x did that, they would get their clearances pulled but because hes at the top the government doesnt have much choice but to retain him unless they want to back out of their contracts and delay their schedules by years at a cost of potentially into the billions that is not budgeted.
