back to this juicy thread, I ran a search as of 2 or3 hours ago, multiple news sites reporting it's just a rumor/ refuting the Callouts and calling in sick claims.

Hope this is just the media being media, and that it's for real. The disrespect of Police in this country has been horrible for years now. Yes , there are some bad officers and they should be fired/ held accountable in some situations. but this Taser video... my god man. Attack cops, expect to die. 24/7/365. stupid...

As I've said in other threads, I hate this for the people that will be victimized due to the inevitable lawlessness that will ensue. We saw what happened in Minneapolis that one night that cops decided to not show up. Some people's nature is just ugly and violent and if they aren't met by forces of good and justice in the form of police then they'll take over the streets as they've done before. It's not a pretty sight.

The only silver lining is that perhaps this inevitable tragedy will open people's eyes to realize that we need law enforcement. Maybe in that way we can avoid an even larger tragedy. Maybe.

Definitely, Happy to finally see some real police reform and reduction in their budget. The way a lot of departments police and the general ideology of policing is pretty draconian. Of course, We should persecute and arrest rapists. However, When are police actually arresting any of those criminals before they actually commit those types of crimes.

The honest answer is basically never. The typical police mantra is reactive. They really never do anything until it actually happens. Believe me, If jacking up their budget and hiring as many officers as possible would stop all the horrific child abuse and sex trafficking then I would be all for it.

Typically, Police constantly have the biggest budget while schools and community programs struggle to get anything which in my opinion would really help prevent a lot of the crime at least in inner cities. Sure, Some people are just ****ed in the head regardless but I'd say thats very few. I think a lot of people come from broken homes with little guidance not that they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions but I think very few people commit crime knowing it's wrong with the purpose of doing something terrible. Also, Sure.

The FBI and the ATF are actually good units and I'm okay with them having the budget they do because they're doing real investigations and real police work not sitting around collection tax payer paychecks sitting in tax payer vehicles getting tax payer gas and pensions while having no accountability for using unnecessary force and generally abusing the badge and the privileges award to them. I am not saying thats all of them but it really shows their true character when they start foaming at the mouth and walking out when they don't get their way like a cranky child because they've been shielded and protected for so long with nobody holding them accountable all while being more concerned about losing their funding because they don't want their salary or position cut because they're skill-less idiots who mooch of the community. I also hate the mantra they push about how there will be nobody to call like how're the police gonna to protect you or do anything after you've already been robbed or raped. They want you to believe you're the victim and that it's okay to force a police state regime because they simple know better and we're helpless victims like we have a right to own firearms and protect ourselves.

Maybe, We should try that and actually stop a rapist or Defend our belonging from home invaders instead of calling the police after we've been victimized so they can stroll in and console us since they are angles sent from heaven. I have never once needed to or felt the need to call police besides making an accident report so when I report to insurance I have a solid claim and anybody could do that not just the police.

Let me try to explain it to you to the best of my very humble ability.

Being tased is completely incapacitating. Sometimes lethal as the ATLANTA police chief just said 2 weeks ago! Ok? The very person who pressed charges today and who said that the guy was peaceful..literally just said 2 weeks ago that a taser is a lethal weapon. You don't see the double standard here?

You have a drunken criminal that just assaulted two officers, resisted arrest for DUI, and disarmed an officer of an extremely dangerous weapon. If the suspect would have succeeded in tasing the officer, he could have taken his firearm. Then you have potentially two dead cops and a drunken criminal running amongst innocent civilians. He would get in a car to get away. Now you have a drunken, armed cop killer in a vehicle speeding away with a gun. If you can't understand the implications of that... I do not know how to help you.

The officer had to make a split second decision TO SAVE LIVES. Tell me... have you ever had to make a choice like that? Ever had to weigh that much risk in a split second?

The officer 110% did the right thing to protect himself, his partner, and THE INNOCENT LIVES OF THOSE AROUND THEM.

Hope this clears it up.

Do not forget: Cops risk their lives (and risk potentially devastating their family and friends in the event of their death in the line of duty) to protect you from people like this, while all the criminals do is RISK YOUR LIFE and your family's lives for their own gain.

I mean this guy has been jailed multiple times for child abuse. Let me say that again.....CHILD ABUSE. Do you know how hard it is to get jailed for child abuse? Definitely, Happy to finally see some real police reform and reduction in their budget. The way a lot of departments police and the general ideology of policing is pretty draconian. Of course, We should persecute and arrest rapists. However, When are police actually arresting any of those criminals before they actually commit those types of crimes.

The honest answer is basically never. The typical police mantra is reactive. They really never do anything until it actually happens. Believe me, If jacking up their budget and hiring as many officers as possible would stop all the horrific child abuse and sex trafficking then I would be all for it.

Typically, Police constantly have the biggest budget while schools and community programs struggle to get anything which in my opinion would really help prevent a lot of the crime at least in inner cities. Sure, Some people are just ****ed in the head regardless but I'd say thats very few. I think a lot of people come from broken homes with little guidance not that they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions but I think very few people commit crime knowing it's wrong with the purpose of doing something terrible. Also, Sure.

The FBI and the ATF are actually good units and I'm okay with them having the budget they do because they're doing real investigations and real police work not sitting around collection tax payer paychecks sitting in tax payer vehicles getting tax payer gas and pensions while having no accountability for using unnecessary force and generally abusing the badge and the privileges award to them. I am not saying thats all of them but it really shows their true character when they start foaming at the mouth and walking out when they don't get their way like a cranky child because they've been shielded and protected for so long with nobody holding them accountable all while being more concerned about losing their funding because they don't want their salary or position cut because they're skill-less idiots who mooch of the community. I also hate the mantra they push about how there will be nobody to call like how're the police gonna to protect you or do anything after you've already been robbed or raped. They want you to believe you're the victim and that it's okay to force a police state regime because they simple know better and we're helpless victims like we have a right to own firearms and protect ourselves.

Maybe, We should try that and actually stop a rapist or Defend our belonging from home invaders instead of calling the police after we've been victimized so they can stroll in and console us since they are angles sent from heaven. I have never once needed to or felt the need to call police besides making an accident report so when I report to insurance I have a solid claim and anybody could do that not just the police.
