Stop and frisk is pretty unconstitutional, Regardless of political affiliation. It has nothing to do with the left, The right or anything. You're trying to politicize and politicbait instead of forming an actual argument. I agree that stop and frisk is more proactive and to some degree stops crime but the only crime it really stops is guns and weapons which really aren't that big of a deal compared to real crimes.

I don't believe I should be stopped for being in public. That creates fear regardless of if I am doing wrong or not since I have the freedom to go and do what I want. I also don't feel like I should be required to answer questions just because I left my house. if you wanna live in a world were you can get harassed by enforcers just like what hitler did in germany that's fine but I don't want that. It's not a matter of what I want.

Constitutionally, We have a right to bare arms. Why do you think they want to take them away. They want to push the mantra that we are helpless and defenseless and even more so now then ever before especially with no way to protect ourselves so that means we need a larger police regime presence shoved down our throat and when you finally realize it good luck revolting against a tyrannical government after they took your constitutional right to bare arms away.

No, institutionalized stop and frisk is certainly wrong. I've never seen an agency besides New York go out and say go to this area and start patting. Terry stops have their place so long as there is reasonable and articulable suspicion to warrant a pat and it must be regarding a specific reason.

I agree they dicked it up for themselves. Now they cant even use it in its constitutionally available form

Oh, Yeah. 100% agree. If you see some girl being shoved in a trunk definitely stop the person and ask them some questions. Hell, Even search the trunk and save the girl for god sake.

As you said targeting certain areas specifically as well as doing it with little to no reasonable suspicion is an extreme abuse of power. Brb, You blew a stop sign I smell weed and see something under the seat. Sure, Sometimes you're right but other times that's why people lose trust and respect when they pull **** like that. Not saying it happens frequently but I definity say that it happens enough to become a problem.

Nobody likes feeling harassed by people supposedly supposed to serve and protect them when their tax dollars are going towards that none sense. That's why I say I believe its a good thing we're seeing police reform and tightening of their budget because some of their antics really do need reforming and the way a lot of departments police really need to be looked into a little deeper. Not that I believe criminals should be protected or be allowed to continue committing crimes but when morals and ethics go out of the window in the pursuit of justice the person who believes he's protecting and saving people is just as wrong as the person breaking the law.

I'm VERY confident he'll be acquitted. Problem is that if you use the courts unfairly, like this, why would anyone in the world accept that liability? Why would anyone go out when they could be the one attacked but charged?
