Ill play devils advocate for a second, how does a little pandering with representation destroy the game? Abby - despite everything shown so far - is not a tranny, another character is. And Ellie has been shown as a lesbo since the DLC, not the point.


The point is that ND pulled another "subverting expectations" bs decision for no reason at all, besides delivering shock p0rn and making the previous installment irrelevant. It's a post-apocalyptic setting, most people have died, so main characters keeling over is absolutely within the possibilities, but there should be stakes/lead-up/reasonin or something, besides haha, bet you didn't expect that. Subverting expectations is boring af, and it serves no point.

Just like the Star Wars sequel trilogy: pander to fans during marketing with Luke/Han/Leia, drive hype, then fuk everyone over and cancel all of the past.

Will play this game in a few years once it's on discount. The Last of Us is simply not a buy game. It's a one time playthrough, renting kind of experience. I pre-ordered the first one and severely regretted that decision once I finished it and never touched it again.

I had the remastered game several years ago. I purchased it again recently to relive and remind myself of the plot, played it on survivor difficulty and had an absolute blast, at that high difficulty it really becomes survival horror, not horror/action. Every bullet counts.
Probably enjoyed it more the second playthrough srs, masterpiece of a game. I dont think you made a bad decision, by preordering it it meant you could enjoy the story without spoilers.
This game though, the leaks (from a suspected disgruntled ex employee) have shown the game for what it is. The gameplay might be good, but all the reviews, even the leftist cuck reviews, say it is stressful to get through.

I thought that protagonist, Elle female or whatever her name was, was a trucker dyke in this game? Is the developer trying to tell me in the post apocalypse world everyone is gender fluid and just looking to bump uglies with whatever Zhe comes "their" way?
