What's the worst final episode of a TV series ever?

For me it's Giri/Haji. An 8 hour series about a Yakuza hitman on the run in London after his boss tried to have him assassinated in Tokyo. He then kills a member of a different Yakuza family in London and kicks off a war in Tokyo. His brother is a Detective and is sent to London to bring him home. It's a really good series, even if it goes on a few boring tangents at times, but the last episode ruins the whole series. At the climactic moment three Yakuza, a London mobster, a London detective and the two Japanese brothers are locked in a Mexican standoff on a rooftop, tension is unreal, then it descends into, I kid you not, an interpretive dance scene. What the fuk?

Controversial but I hated the last episode of BB. SPOILER coming up.

it felt like too much of a victory for Walt. The Series had shown how he had utterly destroyed himself and those around him. In the end he massacres the Nazis in the most unbelievable way, saves Jesse, gets money set aside for his kids via Gretchen and her simp husband and goes out with a smile on his face. It felt too glib. I prefer the theory that he actually was dying in the car, when it wouldn't start and then everything that followed was a dream sequence (although that has been 'disproven').

On Season 1 of GoT. Finding it hard to watch because it's just so po faced with any lack of real humor. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a comedy but even the best 'dark' dramas are hilarious at times. Sopranos, Breaking Bad and The Wire have moments of sheer hilarity.

Give Walt a break. He got cancer and Ted Beneke fuked his wife. It's a satisfying ending.

There's quite a number of lulzy scenes, especially with Tyrion and Bronn - Bronn in general is a great troll -, Arya and the Hound, Council meetings etc. There's a lot of wit in the seasons where Dumb & Dumber still had book material available.

It's probably easier to list finales that were exceptional. Most series run their course, surviving on fumes and then deliver an average-poor closure.
EoR is powered by unique Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology. Giving him high bioavailability and myocellular saturation.

OP thanks for reminding me, that was chit.

For me The OA, last episode was so fukking bad i wont suggest anyone to watch the series. They had a cool concept with near death experiences and alternative dimensions, and i could get over the lame dances, but then they totally ruined it by building up the whole season just to prevent a school shooter in the last episode. So a bunch of people were being tortured, revived, skipped dimensions all just to prevent some random school shooter... give me a break.

Emperor's new clothes bruh. Everyone wants to act like they're all arty and chit, and that they understood the profundity of the scene and how it was a masterpiece, whereas in reality the last episode was directed by a theatre ******* and the dance scene is just a jarring bit of self indulgence from the director that adds nothing.

This x10. I fukin loved that series

Spoiler!
If they had gotten arrested or died, I would have been fuking livid. Found it funny my gf and I were rooting for the russian spies the entire time. I wanted them to get off scott free and live happily ever after. My gf wanted something bad to happen to them, but not to get caught. She was okay with them potentially never seeing their kids again as punishment

I disagree. Walt had turned into a monster. He didn't deserve a 'happy' ending and the last episode ran very contrary to episodes beforehand like Ozymandias or Granite State (far superior episodes).

It's really one of the GOAT's. The whole story was great, but part of it was the fact that I grew up during this time and remember certain things that played out/were mentioned during the series.

So good.

Am deciding whether to watch The Americans or Deadwood. Is The Americans really good? It seems difficult to get into but Deadwood does too. I'm a huge Sopranos, Wire, Breaking Bad fan.

Haven't seen Deadwood, but will probs check out this weekend

I'd definitely recommend the Americans. I'm a huge fan of sopranos and the Wire (never saw Breaking Bad). Watch the show, once you get a feel of the characters, it makes the show that much more interesting. Character development is amazing imo.

Both.

The Americans had it's run and was able to tell it's story. It didn't disappoint.

Deadwood was a great show with great characters that got cut short by the cocksucka's at HBO.

Two of my favorite shows.

I gave up on Six Feet Under after the first or second season. Just didn't like the mortuary vibe. I did watch the clip of the finale's ending scene where you find out what happened to everybody. That was depressing too.

Game of Thrones or Angel. Angel in particular left me with blue balls waiting for the final fight.
