I used to work there in a dead mall. I had no clue how they made money.

There was one day that I was there for 12 hours from open to close by myself and not one person even walked into the store.

Dang, I remember when I first started lifting, me and the GNC brah who worked next to the gym used to shoot the chit. He was a cool dude. I used to go to grab RTDs if I forgot to bring my PWO. He always let me grab a second of whatever I bought for free.

Can confirm. I remember the first time i discovered "Vitamin Shoppe" in college and lost my chit how much cheaper stuff was there compared to GNC, and VS didn't even have the cheapest prices you could find. GNC was the Sam Goody of supps.

it's basically a given that somebody's gonna buy them too right? i just can't really understand how failing businesses get bought, especially outdated ones like brick and mortar nutrition shops
