...and its been this way for a long time. Example - If someone keeps stealing your Trump sign, there is zero effort finding and prosecuting. I went to a legal class about appropriate gun use for my state. The class was 4 hours of what a gun owner COULDNT do to protect their life or property. We had a simulation in range and every single person failed it and would have ended up in jail. The criminal at this point has more rights protecting them from getting killed than I do protecting my own life.
What state is that if you don’t mind telling?

The problem also is that we are splintered as a society even if we align on the same political spectrum. Look at most of the posts itt, people worrying about mundane shiit like NFL season, gyms, parties.

catching it outdoors is very difficult, the real problem is being indoors for extended periods of time with someone who has it

best you can do is open up but social distance and wear a mask, I understand people have businesses to run but if the employees get sick ain't no money to be made

Never gonna be the same. I heard that every other slot machine will be powered off, every other seat at the slots removed, tables will have half the number of regular players, all restaurants will be reservation-only, there are no shows/concerts/conventions/sporting events, and that buffets may be a long time to come back (if at all). And that hotel rooms will be empty for 24-48 hours after a guest leaves.

What other developed nations are still hiding inside? Most European countries are moving on to live life normally. The U.S. is the only developed country competing with 3rd world ****hole countries for the most cases.

Yep she said that buffets have been banned at all casinos there in vegas. She said some casinos were moving the slots around to avoid turning some of them off. If it's a buffet operated restaurant - the employee has to scoop servings for you. I haven't heard her say anything about rooms needing to be empty for 24-48 hrs but she did say that they're suppose to strip literally everything and wash it after each guest - all unused towels, linens, bedding - extras in the closets. She said hotels were suppose to be doing this before covid anyway.

I was driving cross country to pick up my new toy from SC last week & she was with me. When we hit Shreveport LA - went into casino to eat dinner since nothing else was open that late. No masks, no distancing - everyone crowded at tables on top of one another and smoking cigs. They gave no fuarks there. lol
