Can't find it - but wasn't there a study not that long ago that said being put on a ventilator actually made it worse? A story or a study that talked about corona patients (high % of them) that died got worse while on a ventilator?

or am i crazy
I have found my gains again. Thanks Sam Adams

I don't know what the solution is. However, the bars in Scottsdale packing kids in and not practicing social distancing did not look good with the covid numbers rising.

Seems smart money is buying up all kinds of used gym equipment on CL

Gyms will be the last to open

I’m not spending $3/lb for a pair of 45 plates, though, but I don’t think I’ll be repping 315 on squat and deadlift for 10+ reps soon either. Seems like most home gym equipment is sold out for another month

Doesn't matter, numbers will rise. The solution is for everyone to get it. There won't be a "vaccine"....

If you close and wait a month, numbers will rise upon opening. So what?

To keep closing is literally the same as banning cars so that no one gets into a car wreck anymore.

The problem then becomes running out of hospital resources. There is no easy answer.

Our hospital resources are fine.

I know this because they haven't made any adjustments to elective operations. Hospitals don't want to go bankrupt, either.

Let the free market determine the adjustments that should be made to free up resources when those resources are needed.... In other words, not now... Not even close.

Eugh.

Sorry to hear. We were watching up north here hoping everything went well so we could open too.

Thankfully this time around it’s clear the death rate is lower than originally feared. I don’t expect a prolonged lockdown this time around as a result.

Good, really glad owners are fighting back. This is a good sign to keep other governors from trying to pull this sh*t again.

Not so sure about that. Bars are also suing Texas gov. for closing them last Friday.

Businesses are fed up.

https://www.fox4news.com/news/bars-s...shutdown-order

My guess is you'll see Texas make masks mandatory across the state, but hopefully they're realizing forcing businesses to close is the wrong path to take.

Really have to thank the good people of Michigan, and Wisconsin for setting the precedent. They led the way in this fight. Thanks to them, Arizona businesses and even Illinois businesses are fighting back.

That’s a huge issue with this broad edicts. I could understand the point of view of an executive Order pertaining to Maricopa county. But why should it apply to location like Yarnell or Snowflake?

All in all, I agree with you though. If you’re afraid, stay home and don’t let others into your home that aren’t adhering to your COVID safety precautions.

Wow
That's infection rate, not mortality rate. The mortality rate is at most 1%. Maybe it's time the politicians stop capitulating and grow a pair and say what everyone already knows, the protests/riots were the most likely cause of this.

This whole thing in America is political, little tyrant politicians realized just how much power they had and how important they felt and they don't want to lose that so they drum up fear and panic to spread to the stupid people.

Are you stupid or something? I was talking strictly about America and those deaths, how many of them were people 65 and older and had co-morbidity? and how many actually died from Covid?

Lots of people at the gym this afternoon.

Great to be around other lifters who understand the importance of mental and physical health that lifting provides.

Are they? I thought they were just keeping their salon, and massage center open? Are they opening the weight section too?
