I am glad the death rate is low(28) but if you have spoken to a relative who had this thing, then you know this Covid-19 is wicked!
The Florida Department of Health confirmed an additional 5,266 coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update on the virus’ spread throughout the state as communities creep closer to a full reopening of their local economies.
The 24-hour increase in reported cases brings the number of people infected in Florida to 146,341. The Monday number reflects a drop after a run of record-breaking totals surpassing 8,000 and 9,000 a day.
The decrease in daily caseload is due, at least in part, to a drop in the number of overall test results returned to the state. It also shows an increase in the overall percentage of tests coming back positive for the novel coronavirus, casting doubt on Gov. Ron DeSantis’ explanation that this month’s rapidly increasing caseload is due to an increase in tests being administered.

Nah fuk that. I went out a couple weeks ago and spoke to a lot of people who travelled from other states to party it up and enjoy our lax rules. Guarantee they contributed to recent spikes. Most of the time its outta towners coming in, fuking **** up, then leaving us to look like fools.

I’m just simply saying that the level of extreme panic is too much.
Vitamin D is good. Exercise is good. Mental and physical health is good.
Every single patient (which has been dozens and dozens) all have co-morbidities to include diabetes, obesity, heart disease, COPD, etc etc
Extremely unhealthy people are unfortunately who I always dealt with before all of this, and those are the same one’s I’m still dealing with now. I’ve had one pediatric patient who tested positive and required extra care on a Vapo-Therm (high flow oxygen), she’s 16yrs old and 280lbs
No other children or adults under 40yrs old have required anything beyond that
This is primarily an elder-age issue and I do everything I can to take care of them, but they should be staying at home and quarantining themselves, not the rest of the entire country

I wasnt putting words in your mouth I was simply looking for more information which you just gave in this particular post, thanks for that. I dont know anyone who is participating in "extreme panic" just caution, concern, and being generally careful.
The problem as I see it is that most of us think that we are Superman until some undiagnosed chit shows up and combined with this, it proves that we are not. If you are Superman then great but enough stories of healthy people getting their asses kicked has me wondering if Covid19 is special.
