Long time lurker on these forums and curiosity got the best of me so decided to sign up.

Hi Zyra, out of curiosity did you watch girl on girl videos growing up? I have a theory that the reason so many girls that are bisexual are bisexual because they are growing up with TV, books, and regular movies aimed at girls always containing some bisexual characters, lesbian characters, or themes to worship the woman / body. Now porn, in the beginning, really wasn't aimed at heterosexual women, and I can understand why, since it only focuses on point of view of someone having sex with women (they usually only focus on the woman's body/face).

But young people are very impressionable. Books, movies and other media influence them greatly. Porn producers take advantage of that to make more money. I think porn is the most effective, in a bad way, influencer of them all in terms of sexual relationships.

I used to watch girl on girl videos almost all my life, started young (around 13), and because of that I started to believe girls really only liked other girls and that's why I never approached them and remained single. I knew a lot of those girls performed on camera for many reasons; money and notoriety probably being the two biggest reasons. But they were so convincing to my young mind that I always forget those reasons and that probably contributed to my mental illness towards relationships with women. I was much happier before all of this.

So if you watched girl on girl videos or other porn could that be part of the reason for your self-proclaimed mental illness? Thanks!

Yeah I remember that.

Cmon Zyra, you were just the awkward part-time Goth cosplayer, now you and hubby fuk other people? Not judging the degeneracy but I thought you were a full disclosure gal before, now I don't know what to expect. Maybe next week it turns out you have a basement full of Thai children you guys are renting out as sex slaves.

I've gone through a lot of medication changes, but finally found one that suits me.
When we brought up the idea of bringing in the third party, we sat on the idea for about a month to make sure I wasn't manic.

We've always been "polyamorous" in a way that we would flirt, but we never went past that.
And I wasn't worried about him cheating like SilenceSpeaks says. She was the one who suggested that and I even said that I don't believe he was cheating and even if he was, oh well. He's not traveling for work anymore, so we are 100% transparent in our wants.

The girlfriend is mostly for me. He hasn't spoken to any of the girls and I have the final say on who I want to bring in. Even if it doesn't go anywhere, it's been a fun ride. I actually really enjoy some of the girls I've talked to and we are meeting up with one this weekend.

I know it's super weird. I totally get that. Like I said, I've always flirted, but we finally sat down and decided we are in a good enough spot to pull the trigger. I'm healthy mentally (even discussed this with my therapist) and our relationship together is in an amazing spot. I am super into him and extremely happy with where we are and finally have a sex drive back. For a while with my meds I had no libido and things weren't doing well between us, which was 100% my fault.

There's a lot to answer here but that's the most of it.
Like I said, I totally know it's weird. I just thought I would make a thread laughing at the fact that I'm totally getting what y'all go through in the dating world with trying to keep up conversation.

She did not confirm this.

And what they're doing is selfish beyond belief. They're setting a certain moral dis-standard that is going to affect their kids' lives. For what? Momentary carnal satisfaction? They should not be in a relationship together or any traditionally expected relationship for that matter.

I won't expect you to understand these words as your moral compass is a little skewed as well.

Do as you please, however again, you shouldn't be in a marriage. Probably should call it quits. You're defining a morally set relationship all wrong to your kids.

Cheat all you want, but don't be in a marriage when you're doing it.

Because the concept of "marriage" stands for being committed to each other, physically, emotionally, sexually etc. The entire idea of marriage is to be a partner to ONE person.

If you can't do so, then you should dissolve your marriage and just be with that person in the open relationship you described. This eliminates the confusion of what marriage means - traditionally. Where it becomes detrimental for your kids is that the definition of marriage would mean something else to them than traditionally defined. In their future relationships, if they're not committed, it will lead to heartache and pain when the other party expects monogamy.

It's best to let the kids understand that poly-amorous relationship is NOT a marriage. Because those two are not complementary.

lol at people hating. Guy gets to fuk sloots and his girl is actively working on 3somes for him. That's fun as hell. Who would complain about that set up? I've never been in something quite like that, but I think with the right girl it could be ok. Definitely wouldn't mind my girl setting up threesomes.

It boils down to insecurity. Miscers hate girls who fuked more than 5 guys because they only ever fuked their HS GF and 1 other fat broad.

My parents are dead, but to answer your question, I come from a traditionally Muslim family and knew about all their "kinks." Kids are not dumb .. they figure things out. My mom was a housewife and my dad was the Head of Household. After 40+ years of marriage, it wasn't hard to see that their lives revolved around each other.

Even when my dad could no longer have sex in his 60s due to health issues, my mom didn't run out and start having sex with others. She was the living, breathing definition of a committed married spouse.

Your actions are no better than those parents who start putting doubts in young kids' minds about their own sexuality. Confusing them about their gender which often leads to other mental health issues in the future. Don't do that to them. It's fracking selfish AF.

Get a divorce, or at least stop saying you're married and make sure your kids know it.

Was wondering about this recently and discussed it with my friend who is strict Catholic. I’m from a Catholic/Christian background but don’t practice.

Was just wondering what modern religion says about that nowadays and talked about that with my friend. Because I think under strict old fashioned religious rules you’re not allowed to file for divorce in any circumstances. So then even if your spouse is cheating or is beating you etc you’re supposed to stay but that doesn’t seem right.
Muslims aren't as strict about divorce as Catholics. Muslims can have a divorce even if there are no extreme reasons (like cheating). If they don't get along, they can divorce. Although it's discouraged in the religion, you don't need a legitimate reason for getting a divorce.

Adultery is prohibited and punished by 100 lashes if proven by 4 witnesses or self-proclamation by the guilty parties. So no, you can't cheat on your spouse. If you plan to cheat, don't be in a marriage.
