What size arms are considered big (for most people)? (poll)
What size arms are considered big by the majority of people? Obviously for regular gym goers and miscers the number of inches needed to be considered big would be much higher than average
I am also aware theres other factors, such as height, body fat percentage etc.
But for a guy with average height and low body fat, what size arms would be considered big by most of the general public? And also how big are your arms when flexed no pump

You have to consider the average untrained mans arms are 13 inches when flexed. So at lean 15s you will definitely look big and look like you lift
16 would be considered huge by most people if lean. I have a friend who is 6'1 with 16 inch lean arms and they look big and noticeable

Those who are passionate and into bodybuilding usually have much higher standards for themselves. We are so used to seeing photos of people like arnold, ulisses, the rock etc that it is embedded in our mind that we need to be that big to be considered huge
But its a good thing to think like that, so you are never complacent and will continue to keep pushing to get bigger and stronger

Depends on height, it's not just another factor height is the dominant factor. Manlets can look massive with 16's, but once you''re 6'1+ you need 17/18's to start looking big. When my arms were 16 inches they didn't really look big. 15 inch arms on me are basically DYEL

just saw a site with a chart that says 14.5 inches flexed is 95th percentile (bigger than 95% of population)

Highly depends on frame and height. I’m a 5 5 manlet, quite lean. Flexed arms are 13.5 inches flexed and guys/girls always comment on my arms
Edit: waist is also like 28 inches so proportions are important

15 is probably a solid number through the lens of a normal non-gym goer.
