Few weeks ago people started congregating in this hundreds/thousands not listening to anyone but when all the rioting died down it all of a sudden became a huge issue again.

They because to realize actual death rate was 0.2% or less and they needed a way to adjust the data. Lets just call everything a COVID death now without actually confirming that the person had COVID. brilliant strategy if your goal is to increase public panic and help Joe Basement Biden

No, exponential growth starts off very slow at first. If we never had social distancing then I would say most people would have it by now, but not in the first two months.
