Ask a dude who found a Herman Miller Aeron on the side of the street anything

I found it a months or so back. I knew exactly what it was when I drove by.

Busted a U turn and checked it out, was really dusty, had spider webs and was missing 1 wheel. Mechanically, perfect. Nothing was broken. Some people dont know what they have!

So I load it into the back of my truck and head home and give it a super clean up/disinfection.

Tightened all the screws/bolts, bought new wheels, sitting on it right now.

Its a little small for me at 6'4". The seat is just short and only my mid-thigh is making contact with the seat lol, but whatever. Free 400 dollar chair

Mirin hard AF breh srs. I was considering building an Aeron but ultimately didn't go through with scouring for the parts. I was able to acquire two Herman Miller Equatask chairs from ******** Marketplace for pennies on the dollar however. Much easier chairs to get a discount on though relative to the Aeron, especially second-hand

Huh. I guess my company invested in this chair or a clone. I'm sitting in one that looks identical. Had no idea it was worth so much. Mine is probably a knock-off, but it's a damn good chair regardless.

Indeed it does. I'm glad I took it home when they had us clear out our offices for Covid. I wonder if they noticed and will make me return it if I get laid off? I work in travel and that's till a strong possibility. Made it through two rounds.
