Beard Misc: How long do I have to wait?

How long do I have to wait for this to fill in & get juicy? I've never grown a real beard before.

I think I'm going on 3-4 weeks right now

If you are already worrying about how long it will take, you don’t have the patience to do it.

Your facial hair is pretty thick, and looks like it would grow in great, but it seems like it should be a lot longer at 3-4 weeks. That is what mine looks like at about a week. Not as thick, but still juicy and solid.

Fill in how? Do you want some length too? It depends on your beard genetics.

A good 3 months will leave you will a fuller beard most likely with a little bit of length.

Have a pic of what you'd like? I'm 2 weeks away from going 1 full year of beard growth (with a few trims). First time growing a full beard. Probably won't shave it either

I'm tempted to trim it almost every day, so you've got a point

I think my problem is that I have very little imagination on what would look good on me.

so 3 months is a good benchmark?

Yes. Anyone that wants to actually grow somewhat of a beard, 3 months is the first checkpoint. Then you re-assess. From there you can go longer, or you can keep it and let it fill out more while routinely cutting transparent hairs, or you can shave it/trim it.

Depends on genetics. It would take me less than a week to grow what you have in the pic, but then again I’m a hairy goomba.

Keep it clean, use beard oil and trim every 2 weeks with a high number guard to fill in some patchiness, and you should have a nice beard in about 2 months.

This. Let it grow, be patient, be okay with it looking like ragged chit for a while before doing a proper groom.

4 weeks for that? I get that in a week.

I'm guessing at least another 2 months at that rate for something respectable.

Ty misc. I'll try to sit tight, I feel like I look dirty/unkempt since I'm use to shaving or keeping a very light shadow. I always thought I had decent hair growth rates but now I see I've been delusional lmao

Just keep all sharp things away from it
You really gotta commit to bear mode and its probably gonna take well over 6mo to get a mane that can be swayed with a breeze

You'll have stretches where you hate it especially first thing in the morning...
You're gonna have to relearn how to eat things like chicken wings, ice cream cones, anything remotely messy and even once you have mastered that, you'll still get a mouthful of beard outta nowhere all the time
There really is no solution for snatch either so don't try to reinvent the wheel here. You just gonna have to go savage mode and make sure to get all your kissing/making out done ahead of time

And it's very similar to a big bench press as you will get far more compliments and attention from dudes vs sloots

The method I follow for growing a beard is to not touch it for 5 weeks except maybe cleaning up my neck to just above the adams apple and maybe my cheeks slightly. After 5 weeks I trim on the max length of my beard tool.

Usually thickens a bit more over the next few weeks.

I have a full beard by 3-4 weeks. If you are rocking stubble after that time prepare to wait at least another 2 months.

Interesting how your follicles are really dense and you have full coverage but your growth rate is really slow. The stubble really suits you brah. Keep it growing and keep us updated on the look

Update for anyone that cares, and a question:

I think this look is starting to really work for me, which brings me to this:

What do you guys use for trimming? I know I can use a pair of clipper and a guard, but is that a bad idea?

Red really suits you bro.

I think you would come across as being extremely vain with a lot of manscaping happening.

Good looking men go clean shaven and mog all.

I recommend growing your hair out too. Short hair is so lame.

You pull off a short beard well enough, but trust me you WANT to let it get some length. It's fukin fun and you gotta do at least once in your life. Lmao at going your entire life never knowing what the hair on your face would look like fully grown bcus society says not to. I wouldn't trim for at least 2 months just get a good feel for what it comes in like, than you can get a solid trim after that (and the trim will look better cus you had length). Let it go wild boyo, fuk it.
