where's the best "countryside" place to visit in germany? I've spent a lot of time in international cities traveling, have more attraction to nature and avoiding tourists these days

but Italy....hnnnnnnnnng at everything. Rome was awe-inspiring, Almafi beaches were fantastic, Florence at sunset on the Ponte Vecchio was one of the best experiences of my life, and the food m, sweet jesus.
even the people were great in Italy because they genuinely loved their own culture and people. it also wasnt overran with muslims and muslim culture like London.
Italy just utterly mogs every other place in Europe ive been to. Will be going to Prague and Germany over christmas break so we will see if that changes

Dussledorf is interesting though.
I spent a few weeks working in Frankfurt a few years ago.
One of the most boring places I’ve ever been to in my life (and I’ve worked in Belgium, let that sink in)

Besides October fest, what else in in Munich? I’m sure the Bavarian region is pretty and nice, no doubt, but Munich? First time hearing this so I’m a little surprised.
I’ve heard St. Petersburg is pretty, the entire country of Croatia is beautiful and Amsterdam is a party (can confirm).

When I visited the Eagle’s nest it was an incredible experience. Made me wonder how the fuk Hitler could enjoy a view like that every single day and still be a bitter human being, lol. I had always wanted to go there ever since that scene in Band of Brothers towards the end when the Americans took it over. Got some amazing photos.
Also, a girl I knew from high school told me not to worry about not being able to speak German and that she spoke English the entire time. She was 100% right, much to my convenience. Made me feel like an uncultured louse that I can only speak one language despite taking 7 years of Spanish classes. Granted, I was with a tour guide and hit up a lot of the touristy areas but still. I’d do anything to go back.
The river cruise on the Rhine was also fukking awesome. I can’t say enough good things about all those three countries.

Went to Berlin once.
Never again.
The place is more like Istanbul there are that many Turks there. Even their national dish of Frankfurter sausage has been infected with curry.
And the actual ethnic Germans are painfully boring and dull.
We ended up in an Irish bar because they were such utterly dreadful, dreary people.
FUK Germany srs.
