need a damn job (srs thread)

please respect srs tag bros

been unemployed since this entire pandemic. prior to that was working at a law firm in Vancouver en route to being a lawyer. but due to problems with my work permit and depression and health problems, im back in London, England (fukking hate it here, man). was also making some decent money on day trading but pretty much wiped my entire profit with a slight negative due to one bad investment.

i need a damn job, any chitty office job idgaf. just need to make a bit of money asap so i can fukk off out of here and start a new life somewhere or just fukkin travel asia (srs)

Any way to wok for a law firm in London since you have prior experience or did it end on bad times?

ive been applying everywhere brah, but nobody seems to be hiring. chit like indeed etc.. doesnt seem to work, ive only had a couple phone interviews and rejection emails.

i need a different method. the reaosn i got the law firm job in vancouver is by dressing up in suit and tie and literally going door to door for days and handing out my cv.

You need to redo your resume, and work on your interview skills.
You have experience, you shouldn't be getting denied so easily. In the meantime work a random chitty job while you keep applying.

people can see that you have a negative attitude, a victim mentality, and you make excuses for your poor choices in life. until you resolve these issues, you will not be successful. nobody wants to be associated with a person like this. you need to make a big attitude change.

I understand that an office job doesn't sound appealing but at least you'll fall back into a daily routine which can help depression temporarily, you'll meet new people and experience new things. Meanwhile you can just look for a better job. Good luck brah you got this.

Anywhere, or just office jobs you want to work at? Pretty sure you'd find a job if you took any job. Fast food places, walmart, retail etc.
