Any person, male or female who thinks that way just lacks empathy and you're better off without them. I can't even tell you the last time I cried but I understand why people need to. It's not something that would make me think any less of someone. In fact, I'd feel proud as a friend/son/brother that they felt comfortable enough around me to let it out.

I was brought up not to cry. I think the whole world has gone a little soft with everything and this whole “it’s okay to not be okay” attitude promotes men crying and becoming a bit....pathetic. The phrase “man up” wasn’t coined for no reason. It’s because men are expected not to cry realistically, of course men do cry at times but I very much believe in being a man about things, have your little cry in the shower, get out dry your balls and get on with the day.

I think the saying is “there’s a time and place”. Crying over small inconveniences in life in my opinion is something that’s not okay to cry about. This is just my opinion and it’s neither right nor wrong. I don’t have respect for people that constantly spout off with “real men cry”. I think that encourages someone to be mentally weak.

A girlfriends dad when I was 18 called her up when she was over mine screaming down the phone I could hear him absolutely screaming that their dog has just died. He was screaming at her that she needed to come home right that second. I took her home and I wasn’t allowed in the house. Meanwhile this “man” was in the house with his wife and 3 kids letting them see him like that. I think that was extremely over the top and as a person I believe it was weak minded.

One of my good friends and miscer, Paulie92, passed away at age 25 from skin cancer. Yes, I cried quite a bit during his funeral and seeing him at the hospital at 125 pounds hardly able to stand up.

Last time I legit cried was 3 years ago over a sloot, but again I was extremely drunk, and I felt alone in the world. before that, dont remember. There's a difference between crying and shedding a tear btw. I shed a tear often when I see a really sad video, or a game scene, or when my horse was killed in red dead redemption 2. bawling your eyes out? Only rare circumstances.
