The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture has his helpful guide to whiteness, which we can use as a guide to what we need to give up.

For nonwhite miscers it's probably still useful to check through it to make sure you don't inadvertently start doing any of the things or sharing any of these values.

I know my ancestors are from poland and sweden and based on my skill color i believe i am white but my dink is very large so do you think it is fair for me to assume i am or can at least identify as part black since i know their struggles just to get it inside my girlfriend is a five minute warmup it used to be she could prepare herself while i got to relax but she sucks about as much as a broken down vacuum at this point

this is why the beginnings of getting along start by attacking the root issue of minorities NOT having these elements in single mother family education and what they can do learn and copy from us

The thing that sets race relations back the most is when minorities try to teach us instead of saying teach me how to be like yall

They need to stop trying to have a loud mouth and instead have a loud ear and eyes to learn and copy from us

Reading it was a wake up call for me. For example I thought people who worked hard to achieve success were found in many cultures and races. But it turns out that was just me projecting my whiteness onto those people. I'm definitely overdue for re-education.

That's what I thought all my life until 2020. In 2020 I've learned that thinking we are all individuals who should be judged on our own merits as people = being blind to race which = the essence of racism itself.

The chart reflects dull observations about values that fundamentally drive white American society, not critiques.

Every society will operate under assumptions that on the surface sound good. Listing out the values for Japan, UK, Russia, China, India, etc. will look very different from each other. E.g. "Looking out for each other" versus "becoming self-reliant" are both desirable values but will have radically different implications as to how society operates - say, having low taxes but low government services versus high taxes and high government services.
