If you can handle it AND not be mad about getting it, then play.

Like I said before, I do not stop what I do, but I can definitely assure you the virus is real and it is doing damage out there.

It may very well have to be part of a new norm for society.

wait...wut? so because someone you know got mild symptoms that means its just likeevery other infection? Tell that to the 140k people who died from it. (but i think those numbers reflect the death of every person who died with covid, not died BECAUSE of covid).Every other infectiontends to usually result in deaths because of complications like pneumonia and septicemia. Do not confuse re-infection with dormancy.

It is too early to tell. I am pretty smart, as you all know, and have thought about this considerably. I have come to the conclusion that the virus is a credible threat and is why I am taking a temporary break from my usual area of expertise (manlets, trolls, inferior genetics, intelligence, philosophy and psychology) to post my important views on the misc.

I think i had it. Honestly I never had a fever longer than half a day in 27 years (srs). This time I had a fever for 3 days straight, it was so bad I couldnt wash my hands without them hurting.

The cough was like a bad cough nothing crazy i had worse. However my symptoms had more to do with my brain so im not even sure if I had viral meningitis + some flu.

I had this intense pressure in my head, to the point where I would have gone to the ER if it didn’t reside. After the flu symptoms were gone I was ****ed up for 4 months.

I had dizziness, lightheadedness, it was hard to even write an email for work, the entire day it felt like it was midnight. If whatever i had was covid then i can see how it can easily kill people.

What if the virus was dormant and suddenly woke up rather than being reinfected? You see, open your mind. I know what you are saying. I am Tier 1 Intelligence. Can you say the same? Re-read my first sentence and then let it sink in. Thanks.

You are using flawed logic. "If some people get mild symptoms, thenCOVID = Common cold." And that isnt true. If that is true then:
If a cancer patient dies from an infection related to the common cold, then "common cold = cancer"

thats just false. most people die from ARDS, which is a complication of the infection.
ARDS is one of the complications people can die from. NotTHEreason they die from covid. The current theory of why covid kills is the stimulation of cytokines (cytokine storm). What you are saying isjust falsethen.

no im using basic logic. i never said covid == the common cold (even though it is a cold virus). i said it behaves like every other upper respiratory infection (because it is an upper respiratory infection).mostpeople have mild to no symptoms, somepeople have severe symptoms. thats objectively true for covid, for the flu, for the common cold, for mono, for entero viruses, for upper respiratory infections in general...

]soooo what your saying is people are dying from complications of the infection?
No. that is the theory of the mechanism of action. Not a general complication, which is what ARDS is.

It's a serious disease, but yes, your individual chances are low of dying. The main point is to try to prevent infectious spreading to at risk people. It is also important for the public to slow the transmission rates so that icus don't get overwhelmed because then people will die of trauma, etc from otherwise treatable conditions. I'll point out that in a nuclear war, your individual chances of being killed would also be quite low since perhaps less than 10% of the population would actually die even in the bloodiest of wars. There would be strategic targeting and resolution. Does that mean you shouldn't care about it? Your chance of dying to terrorism is also incredibly low, yet we spent trillions fighting that.

At the end of the day, nobody can force you to take the virus seriously. Companies can ban customers that do not wear masks, and Governors can pass laws. But at the end of the day, you will do whatever it is you want. One would hope that with the information you have, you'd make a responsible decision, but ultimately, nobody can force you to do anything.

I agree. People are making the general assumption that "If it doesnt kill more people than the seasonal flu or the common cold, then its no worse than either." And I think thats a bad way to look at it. (bout to get political) Of course, I do believe that people are so upset about it all because of the MSM feeding the hysteria and panic. Democrats are acting like they care so much about the lives of citizens but we all know its bullchit. They just want to influence the election. Of course, i dont think republicans are much better

I'm just worried about the possible long term implications of it. I had it and it was pretty much a severe cold for me. About 4-5 days of fatigue, lack of appetite, cough, and mudbutt. I recovered relatively quickly but I hope it doesn't lead to anything crazy down the line. If it weren't for that I wouldn't care.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Plus it has already killed more than the usual flu, and that was with distancing and lockdown attempts.

It has been shown to lead to permanent lung damage and clotting issues in some people.

It has been shown to lead to permanent lung damage and clotting issues in some people.
Clotting issues. YIKES. Chit is bad news man. Knew a guy whose dad went on statins for cholesterol and i think for infarction prevention issues but he took it for years. If you are unaware, statins block the substances that you must have to make cholesterol, both good and bad. Cholesterol is made up of lipids. The brain is 60% fat so he developed dementia after some time.

You wanna know why they DONT talk about that number? Because it invalidates their gay cuck panicel narrative, here is what Silencespeaks husband has to say:

"It didn't really hinder my training," the 22-year-old said. "I was able to do stuff at home. Obviously, I wasn't able to leave or skate or anything. That's probably the one area that took a hit for me was that I had been skating beforehand and having to take two or three weeks off the ice. That kind of catches up to you.For the most part , but obviously did my quarantine and feeling healthy now, so it's all good."
Not to nitpick, but the average age (in the US) is 71.Baby boomers are the largest age range in the US though.

Picture yourself with the worst man flu or hangover you’ve ever had. Then double it and imagine no guaranteed timeline for it to end
