Having a guy come out to install COVID alarm
Things have been getting pretty serious
Lockdowns are imminent and my shipment of new masks have arrived.
I now have:
- going out in public mask
- driving masks
- around the house masks
- sleeping masks
- gardening/yard mask
I turned off my AC because people tend to stop in front of my house to admire my rose garden. I always hum to myself as I’m watering my roses and gardenias. I’ve only had to threaten to turn the hose on one unmasked lady who was walking a Great Dane. She stopped at the corner of my driveway but was within 20 feet of me (my personal space). I told her I would call the police if she didn’t respond to the hose, but the threat made her leave
It’s become a problem now with (mostly unmasked) people admiring my flower collection.
The installation will have a touchpad near my front window so I can sound the alarm from behind my window and the person on the sidewalk will hear it because of the lawn speaker ($120 to install)
When they look up they will see me in my mask standing angrily behind my window. I will point to a sign on my lawn that says “put your mask on and keep moving”
Why do so many dog walkers refuse to wear a mask? If I had my AC on I would probably be breathing in their particles. My mask can’t keep everything out

What are people even doing leaving their property? We’re in the middle of a pandemic!
