Any of you ever got mugged? Srs
I have dealt with very aggressive beggars but noone tried to take something from me by force. Then again I usually avoid certain types of people by changing my path before they approach.
Closest was when I was in army guarding the main gate middle of the night and got approached by 2 disgusting terrorist looking dudes asking for cash. We almost shot them because they weren't leaving but finally they said "we are sons of bitches right may our moms be fukked (lol)" and left.
Experiences?

Someone attempted to mug me about 7 years ago. Stole my wallet while we were drinking in the “beer garden”. He started talking chit and was holding it above a disgusting trash can full of food and beer. I pushed him back but he dropped it in the trash. I went to pick it out and he came up behind me and grabbed me. I took the lid off the trash can and smashed him in the fookin head with it! He ended up getting kicked out, I didn’t get in any trouble. We were cool after that lol

3 times. Grew up in a rough area. Never involved in any illicit activities srs. Just had some bad luck and realized the world is full of scumbags.
First time I was 13 and got dragged behind an abandoned building with my friend by some older kids (17-18). They took our money and flip phones.
Second time I was like 16 and got chased down by a known street gang and bike jacked at knife point.
Third time I was early 20s sitting in a car waiting for my girl to come outside and got a gun put to my head by a dude in a ski mask. Took my wallet and iPhone.
TFW you distrust every stranger you meet and don’t feel safe walking down the street in your own neighborhood. Sucks.

Not mugged per se, but back in Junior High my school buds and I were having a big party at a house right off this busy af party street in my city. I left the party and went to this busy street to attempt procuring some stuff that is now legal in Canada. Two older guys acted like they were going to sell me the stuff but then took my money and bolted.
I went back to the party to tell my buds what happened and they were not fukking having it. We went back to the street in a big group and the two idiots had returned to the spot where they took my money. I was like "THERE THEY ARE" and the group of us ran at them, they took off across this busy street and so did we, weaving in and out of traffic and probably almost getting hit by cars. We chased them to another nearby house where they hid inside until a couple girls they knew came out and paid back the $$$. I think it was $10 or $15

I have never been mugged and I've been through some ****ty places in ****ty countries.
"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

A few years back I was in London England with my cousin. Walking in a seedy area and a guy pulled a knife on us and demanded our wallets. My cousin, being SAS, was not impressed and had the guy on the ground with a broken arm in a matter of seconds.

Twice.
First time when I was about 12-13, walked to Fred Meyers to buy a CD and got jumped by a gang of teens. They hit me with a skateboard and knocked me out.
2nd time was when I lived in Sacramento. Was working in South Sac in a rough area. Got jumped by 3-4 black dudes from behind at a corner store grabbing an energy drink on my break. They took my phone and some cash. My CCW came in the mail three days later.
I saw em about 2 weeks later and they probably figured I wouldn't do chit again and started walking towards me until i moved my shirt and they could see the holster and grip. Literally scattered like roaches.

I like to travel alone, and surprisingly I've never had anything happen. Traveled to Rio de Janeiro twice and have walked solo in some of the safer favelas, all around Lapa, walking solo in Colombia, Bangkok, Manila, day and night. I live in Bed-Stuy, and walking around here nothing ever happens.
Idk man. I imagine it'll happen at some point.
However, being street smart is pretty key. In the day time you're pretty much good to go if you keep it in the general public areas, and I never walk around expecting anything to happen during that time. At night, my heads pretty much on a swivel even if it may not seem like it. I will cross streets if I see potential sketchy encounters approaching, and I will never walk down a sketchy alley.

One time I was visiting my HTC girlfriend in Detroit, and we were coming home at like 10 o'clock in a bad neighborhood; when we were approaching the door a young black man walked up to us and told us to give him everything we had on us. After like a minute of trying to talk him out of it a couple happened to be driving down our street so I ran out in front of the car forcing the driver to stop. The mugger ran away when I did this.
I told the guy (also black) to call the police and he responded by saying "I am the police", when I asked him if he truly was the police he pulled out a gun and said "does this gun look real to you?"
After that me and my girlfriend went home and we ended up getting the guy arrested with our identification.
