By classic i dont mean the 70s and 80s i refer to the golden age of tv.
The honeymooners or i love lucy have got to be at the top of anyones list.
The honeymooners especially. If you are in a bad or sad mood watch it. Its always good for laughs

Married With Children. Al Bundy is a more alpha version of the FA dudes or the betas that got into a miserable marriage because "society" and are now trapped in it.

What's the golden era of tv? The 90s?
edit- nevermind I guess it's anything before the 70s. Leave it to Beaver is alright. Very wholesome show, you don't have family dynamics like that anymore.

Family Ties (1982-1989)
My father was a typical Japanese father, 100% humorless.
As a teenager, I wished and wondered if what this tv show depicted was actually a true American family's everyday life.

Little House on the Prairie.
Top notch production values, excellent writing, acting and casting. It takes place in the 1800s, so each episode is a wholesome history lesson on top of really well written drama/comedy.
One of my favorite shows for sure. Deep as fuk and authentic.

"I Love Lucy" is probably the only other show from the 50's that holds up.
Lots of classics from the 60's though.
Bonanza
Get Smart
Hogan's Heroes
Gilligan's Island
Twilight Zone
Beverly Hillbillies
Andy Griffith
Dick Van Dyke
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Star Trek
Jetsons
Leave it to Beaver
etc.

The original series of Star Trek doesnβt get enough credit it was aeons ahead of its time.
Since it started in the 60s, Columbo fits opβs criteria and stands up against any modern teccy stuff. I still look for episodes I havenβt seen recently

Good to see other LHOP fans in this thread. Nellie was way ahead of her time in terms of trolling and general nuisancery. Willie wasn't bad either. I could go on about each character tbh, each one was so deep.
