America loses against China in all war scenarios by the pentagon
The United States just lost a battle to save Taiwan from a Chinese invasion and it’s not the first time.
A series of intensive war-games are revealing deep-set flaws in its fighting ability.
It’s a nightmare, but apparently increasingly likely, scenario: Beijing making good on its threats to invade its island neighbour.
It’s a sinister scenario the United States and its allies have become increasingly concerned about as China’s military expands and modernises at an extraordinary rate.
Unnamed US defence sources reportedly told The Times that such a conflict was the scenario of a recent intensive war game session conducted by the Pentagon. The results, they say, were “eye-opening”.
The scenarios were different and diverse. Some involved clashes in the South and East China Seas. One – the worst-case scenario – was an out-and-out war in 2030.
The US reportedly came out second-best every time.
And that has serious implications for South-East Asia’s – and Australia’s – security.
“The 2020s will see greater risk as China begins to get the capability to challenge the US at sea and in the air (also in space and in cyberspace),” says Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) analyst Dr Malcolm Davis.
“That could tempt it to make moves in the South China Sea and against Taiwan. The US may not be ready to meet that challenge.”
‘CAPITAL LOSSES’
The Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) think-tank in Washington has been
“Every simulation that has been conducted looking at the threat from China by 2030 have all ended up with the defeat of the US,” CSIS’ China Power Project director Bonnie Glaser told The Times.
The war-games revealed that the US risked “capital losses” even under current circumstances.
Capital is a reference to both capital ships, such as US Navy’s enormous nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, and forward operating bases like those at Guam and Okinawa.
“China has long-range anti-ship ballistic missiles and hypersonic [more than five times the speed of sound] missiles,” one source reportedly said.
Dr Davis says this technology gives China the power to keep US military forces at arm’s length.
“The main challenge the US faces is sustaining the ability to project military force deep inside China’s anti-access and area denial (A2AD) perimeter – which is expanding as the PLA introduces new long-range strike capability,” he told News Corp today.
“Carrier-based airpower, in particular, is being challenged.”
Supercarriers such as the COVID-19-crippled USS Theodore Roosevelt have been at the heart of US naval thinking since World War II.
Then, they could move swiftly and unseen across the world, launch surprise strikes and quickly retreat out of the range of counter-attack.
Times have changed.
Dr Davis says the immense investment of time, human resources and capital represented by US Navy’s supercarriers are offering diminishing returns.

I often see American's boasting about how many aircraft carriers they have compared to the rest of the world, but Aircraft carriers are fking obsolute.

We probably have gear fifty-plus years ahead of what everyone thinks we have. Hopefully they beef up our deficiencies in those war games so it's not a concern which I'd guess would probably be one of the reasons we run them.

If we are ever in an "all out war" with China there won't be any winner. We're all ****ed.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

I would be more willing to believe what the article is trying to get across if it weren't for the fact that China had to examine our stealth chopper remains from the Bin Laden raid to even start to keep up with our tech.

They'll most likely ALWAYS have the numbers on their side. But people run scenarios/simulations all the time and get varying results. Saw an article once about 15yrs ago that said a simulation was ran with a war between the U.S and Canada. And it would end with Canada being the victor. Simulation laid out that the canadian forces would just tear through the middle of the U.S....

I do believe the China Virus was created to make Trump lose the polls though.
China has very few real friends in the world. Most on the Chinese border absolutely hate them barring the North Korean and the Pakistanis.Everybody on their periphery play nice to them for the trade but deep down none of them are their all weather allies including Russia.
If China ever lets things get out of control and towards war make no mistake the west will come together and **** their chit up.The Chinese are doing well but militarily and technologically they are light years behind you guys in the west

If you think those are 100% accurate and predict the future, I got some bad news.
Do I think the U.S would steam roll China with ease? No.
Am I open to the possibility of China being victorious in a war? Yes.
Am I going to base my final thought on who would win in a full out war(not just a single battle) based on a war-game scenario? Absolutely not.

By 2030 leftism will control every aspect of America. At the very least, that means a complete defunding of the military. Now when you put those 2 things together, it means we wouldn't even have the capabilities of defending ourselves from an attack by china, let alone waging one.
This is something very low political IQ military officials tasked with coming up with these scenarios never take into consideration.
