this

never was big into wrestling but last year there was a semi-amateur show in a church hall nearby (srs) and I went to see it

from up close you really can see how one small mistake can really mess someone up, scripted or not it's insane

and these were people with a dayjob willing to risk it all for love of the sport, I have nothing but mad respect for this

even though there was only a small crowd the atmosphere was pretty awesome

10/10 would go to again

(but not gonna happen anytime soon unfortunately)

I can imagine the toll it takes on your spine taking constant bumps on your back hitting that ring surface. Although the “eye gouging” gimicks are obv fake. Def don’t dispute that wrestling is physical.
