I'm not a USA brah but current state of USA affairs is a chit show. The general population is fat and weak. Any time I visit and I see these people rolling around in their stroller things because they're too obese to walk, I always smh. I've never seen a single one of those in the Caribbean here.

This. Its is actually one of the biggest reasons why victory for the US in a conventional war is also not really assured as it was in the past. The US was in poor shape before pearl harbour militarily, but the massive industrial base it had enabled it to quickly shift production to fight conflict. This is not the case by any margin today, much of the global manufacturing has shifted east to china and Asia etc.

The US would never be able to succesfully invade China and vice versa.

Still think the US would win a naval/aerial conflict. Although the Chinese are catching up tech wise, people tend to forget that the US military has alot more experience, granted in recent times mostly against people with no navy or airforce or even AA capability but still lol.

I’m not upset at all. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities I had in the military and everything I was able to take from it.

Do you feel the official declaration of a military conflict as war by congress matters for the context of this conversation?
