Let's do some quick maths here brah. Everything I found said he weighed between 260 and 270 at his competition weight. So let's say 265 @ 8% BF. 265 × 0.08 = 21.2# of bodyfat on stage. I think we can all agree those are fair numbers, yeah?

He started playing the Hulk 2 years after his last Olympia appearance. Do you really think he gained 35+ pounds of pure fat in that 2 year span?

As someone else said, he was also covered in a thick layer of paint that would hide a lot of muscle separation and make him look softer than he actually was.

10% is a joke, but 15% is a reasonable assessment.

This guy gets it. You can't compare someone who is 6'5" and 300# with Mr Olympia level muscle tissue vs an everyday gym rat who is 6' and 200# and expect them to look the same at 15% BF.

Skip to 9:45 in this video, Bryan Shaw carries a LOT of bodyfat but a dexa scan had him at 22% because he also carries a ridiculous amount of lean mass.

This.

He has some ridiculous veins in his arms and striations in his chest. You typically don't see that at >15% bf

He might not have super visible abs, but he never really did have the best midsection and they caked on the paint.
