Just lol at using older and less efficient technology and thinking that's cool, what's next, gonna march into battle with a musket and minie balls? Gonna look real cool loading each shot, surely somebody will care right?

Same type of people that would use a typewriter because they think it "connects their thoughts to paper better" or some other delusional reason. Literally just wanting to look retro-cool while ignoring all the benefits of the modern tech.

1st. 16yo can't drive in Europe
2nd. If you come to Europe and say "Oh... I drive automatics" people gonna think "Lol...I dunno if this guy is a ******* or hes just to retard to drive manual".

Actually, most people in Europe think that anyone who drives an auto is handicapped of some sort, missing a hand, a foot, or something between the ears.
Exactly

Only girls are allowed to do that cuz... I mean, girls can't drive. lul

manual benefits

- more connected with the road
- better driver because you have to pay more attention
- more fun
- anti theft device (in the usa)

cons

- can suck if you're really tired or in the city

I had a chitty '97 subaru as a spare car that was a manual and it was a blast to drive. don't think i would have had the same experience if it was auto

Just lol at caring what someone drives.

Also just lol at not being able to drive a manual. My 70+ mom can drive a manual and has moved all of my manual cars out of the driveway when I was a kid and visited if she needed to get out. RX-7, Sentra, 2 Audis

Just lol....

I don't know about that but men who can't drive manual are usually biggest soyboy cuckholds who voted for hillary clinton.

There is less drivetrain loss via manual actually. I can rebuild my transmission in an evening easily, enjoy your 500 dollar tow to get a 4k dollar rebuild.

For performance cars it makes more sense, on a track the onboard nannies are far less intuitive and will not always do what is needed at the right time.

Pneumatic shifted sequential is really the top dog in the transmission world but 99% of miscers drive a Corolla and see cars as an appliance.

Don't forget they are cheaper to purchase. i had a 2013 Accord Sport that I paid cash for new. Auto was ~ 2k more + sales tax = ~2200 extra

I'm literally collecting parts for a six speed swap. 4.133 FD, holds more power, one extra gear, and a lower rpm at cruising speeds. My 500hp turbo car will be getting 25-28 mpg.

Dollar for dollar manual trans can handle way more horsepower

Also much cheaper to upgrade. Can put in a multiplate clutch And hardened gearsets or even just 1st and second

Also in Australia with hundreds of kms between towns it’s good to know if you get a flat battery you can roll start and if you lose a gear/synchro you can still get home using the other 4 or 5

And heaps of warning before the clutch blows

Good luck if you lose a torque converter In the outback you’re rooted

Lost 5th gear once. Drove 4-5 days with 4 gears while waiting for the shift fork to ship to me from the dealer.

Let's see an auto do that
