How to get over a break-up? Relationship/life advice. (get the fk in here, srs)

Recently ended a 6-year relationship. OP is in his late 20's, stable career, powerlifting, no kids. I initiated the end of relationship, but then it got kind of messy.

Asking the misc, how do I get over the slump?

Similar situation I was once in, Minus it was only a 4 1/2 year deal. We were engaged, And owned a condo together (that she now lives in) got completely ****ed out of it.

Anyways i also initiated it as I cheated on her quite often. Being on the road for work, hotels 160 + days a year. Many hotel lounges that ended with a pounding.

She was visiting her parents and lied to me as to which day she was returning home.

I had been fornicating with a woman when she walked through the door. It was not good.

Anyways don't think about it, I know it's easier said than done, But after I picked up all of my belongings off the back deck / yard, I got on with life.

Get balls deep in a new one.
It may not take your mind 100% off the last one but it sure feels good.

Why do you have a 6 year relationship to your name in your late 20's?

Son, start banging sloots and having fun.

If you are ugly and/ or are a manlet, just work and donate to some animal charity.

Thanks
"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

Do anything and everything to distract yourself. You dont necessarily have to get another girl. I recommend finding new challenges for you to preocuppy yourself. It doesn't matter how big or small it is.

If you have any friends, then try and use them as a distraction also.

Well, since you initiated it you know that it was something that you wanted. Even if it was messy, it was something that you wanted enough, that you still went through with it. So you have to keep in mind that you chose this, and you did so for a reason.

Next you're going to want to focus on growing your life with all your newfound time. Enjoy some of that solitude, and embrace some of the mixed feelings you have. It's okay to feel a little bit lost, and it's okay to feel a little bit sad about the whole ordeal. After all, it was a lengthy relationship that you ended. It's natural to still feel some amount of connection. However, do not fool yourself into thinking that you want to go back--after all, you did break up with this person, and the likely case is that going back would literally put you right back into the same spot you were in... Wanting to break up.

So with that in mind, work on bettering yourself in the following ways:
1) Improve your physique!
2) Work on some new hobbies that you didn't have time to before, or rediscover an old one!
3) Spend some time engaging in activities that would improve your career, like classes or certifications
4) Learn to feel deep appreciation for the world around you, and spend some time considering how wonderful the things you have gotten to experience are
5) Remember not to jump back into a relationship, this is a very important time of self-discovery, in which you can learn some excellent lessons.

Time heals all wounds

You’ll hit the stage soon where you miss her and think you were a dumbass for breaking it off, but down the line you will realize it would have never worked out.

Accept that she's going to get fukked by somebody else. Play that scene in your head until it doesn't cause any emotion. When you get there you're over her. Good luck!

If you get a boner you're still emotionally attached. Do it until thinking about it is like thinking about whether red is more colorful than blue.
