Which of the three promotes the most hypertrophy for natty lifters?

inb4 some ******* says crossfit or HIIT.

Powerlifting > Olympic Lifting > Strongman > Bodybuilding.

Deadlift > Squat > Bench > Overhead Press > Curls for the Girls.

Powerlifting = Strength training. I.e. 4-7 reps

I still don't get why it's called power.

Anyway

Oly lifts = Power training. I.e. 1-3 reps

Iso lifting is just machine work.

Hypertrophy = Get bigger. 7-12 reps with high volume workload.

Xfit is just Circuit Training.

HIIT is just a form of cardio.

literature seems conflicting on whether or not high volume workouts catalyzes more hypertrophy than heavier weight, lower reps workouts.

Powerlifting you also need to train for power, Like bar speed, fast reps. etc. Explosiveness

I would say for a natty lifter, combine both powerlifting and bodybuilding. Standalone I think they'd give pretty similar results in size.

Would not even consider Oly lifting for size.

Weightlifting for leg gains. Serious ones squat like 8 hours a week.

I’d say powerlifting with proper iso training thrown in. Not that hard to program in.

Isolation focused bodybuilding isn’t really a thing. Any bodybuilder would still tell you compounds>iSolation movements for size.

Yeah, some says power is 1-5, others 1-4, some say high rep some Low rep.

Some high volume some low volume. It's rather stupid today.

I stick to classics that have been proven personally.

Why not both? U need to get stronger. Also need adequate volume for hypertrophy. Imagine doing 5rep sets and 12 rep sets within the same program.
