I’m shooting for way over 72 hours, I heard ketosis kicks in after that. Just make sure you are replenishing sodium, I think that’s what was making me feel I like chit.

Caffeine also helps me out a ton...wouldn’t be able to fast without it. I’m on a second bang in 2 hours

It’s not the energy that’s bad, it’s the calories, your body uses that as fuel instead of your fat reserves. Try caffeine pills.

First fast I ever did last year was around 50 hours. I was able to keep my training schedule just fine but had a weird headache after a fullm day's fast. Did a few 36 hour fasts since then followed up by nearly 4 day fast after lockdown ended and it was a breeze. Did another 36 hour fast last week after vacation.

Op, for me it kind of resets my body. I lose any extra bloat in the first 24 hours (more like full day plus full night's sleep).

There is BCAAs in BANGS....

Goodnight sweet fast.

Also artificial sweeteners can cause insulin spikes.

I didn’t notice a change until I went black coffee only until I ate.

Also break fast with fat and protein never carbs

And make sure on weekends you don’t fast longer than 12 hours and eat at a surplus.

Just do cardio to counter act the calories. Very easy to fuk up metabolism by not eating enough.

Fasted for 19 days around this time last year.

First few days werent so bad, but days 3-8 were awful. Had no energy and everything was a struggle

From 9-19 it was weird. I was aware there was no food in my system but I wasnt hungry. My mind was so much clearer, I had all this random energy. I wanted to go 40 and the only reason I didnt go the full 40 was because my mom came to visit me (lol) and she literally begged me to eat food.

Nowadays Im running on a 3 day a week fast. Not too bad. You may not feel as hungry but you definetley do think about food more often.

Yeah, might be different if I was on a marathon fast but I wouldn't be to concerned over a few days. Endurance was noticeably lower, though.

Done it a few times before

Biggest thing I notice personally is my mood elevates and my mind becomes sharper. Apparently fasting increases your lifespan via telomeres.

Impressif. Mine haven't been that long but I noticed the first 2 nights are the toughest. The first night is hunger, the second night is the "want" to eat, but the third night for me was a breeze. I would've gone longer on my 4 day fast but was only planning on 3 and wife had made a big dinner the evening I decided to extend one more day. Felt I had more in the tank tho.
